I was planning on reading this morning before work, but I got a jury summons in the mail and I had to fill out the questionnaire. That messed up my day I do not want to do jury duty. UGH.

I plan to start tonight at my daughter's swim meet but I might be able to start earlier

Definitely not what I was hoping for in the mail. I guess I should be glad it's during the summer and not the winter months. It's the middle of July when I have to go in I just want to get it over with.

I am not too far in it right now. I plan on reading more tonight.

I was glad (view spoiler)[to see Chloe and Derek again and that they were through the rest of the book from that point on. I think that it picked up pace when they showed back up. Maybe because I liked those characters more. It was nice to see Simon and the others as well too (hide spoiler)]

I liked this series, but not as much as the Darkest Powers series. Can't wait to see what you think.

It was a good finale and I'm glad we finished it, but I felt this one was kind of slow in the beginning and middle. I agree, it finally picked up near the end :)

I agree I thought that this one was slow moving for most of the book. I am glad that we finished it though.
