Several of my teammates have mentioned that past Tower Team challenges have a separate thread to post finished books to. Is that going to be the case? That idea confuses me LOL

That is really up to you. Some teams like a separate thread, some don't. If you would like a separate thread, just let us know. ;)

Caly, I'm not a mod but I've been a captain/co-captain for three out of the four previous tower teams, so I'll chime in.

In the past, as a previous captain, I had trouble when the spreadsheet didn't catch something but someone had read it -- maybe they didn't mark it to their tower teams shelf, or Goodreads glitched and didn't mark it as read. Having a post about the finished books made it easier to verify the spreadsheet's accuracy... and those kind of posts can easily get lost in the banter of the main discussion threads, so the mods create a separate thread just for posting finished books.

Not every captain will expect you to do it, but it can be very helpful.

Caly, I agree with Steven. It is very helpful to whoever is doing the spreadsheet and it's less likely that a book will be missed. It really isn't as confusing as you might think. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly if your captain decides to go that route. :) Good luck with Tower Teams and hope you enjoy it!

Yes. X-Wing definitely needs a separate "finished books" thread. We're already blowing up the chat thread. It's sent me to have my head examined. And there is a hole in it now that required stitches....
