5***** I really loved the dual storyline of this novel. I also loved the way the author wrapped up both stories. She may not have ended it the way I would have liked but one can not expect two completely happy love stories in one book can they? ;-}

He was a wonderful cook and made the best and most fluffy pancakes and waffles with blueberry syrup. So the books could be: immigrant, single parent, farm or rural setting, cooking. (2) Silvia’s sister: She was a schoolteacher and was married to a policeman. She loved collecting antiques and English china. She had an eye for beauty. Books could be: teacher, student, policeman and English romance. (3) Silvia’s brother: He was born in April! He also was a mechanic who restored classic cars, but enjoyed playing the guitar in a rock band as a hobby. He had a joy for life and was the best big brother. Books could be: rock and roll, cars/racing, birthday.
