I'm not sure, Penumbra. Ezi's not asked me to run it for her, so I assumed she'd be doing it.

We might be able to do a shortened timeline one, like 23rd to 25th for posting shelves, 26th to 28th for picks, 29th for those that don't get picks. Let's see if Ezi has something else in mind.

Susan A | 2091 comments I don't mind the shortened time!

Could we do the same thing for FWYS?

I've got a message in to Ezi about both of them, mentioning the timeline I stated. If I haven't heard back from her by 3 pm EDT, I'll run them for May. So, give me an hour, and I'll post back here and let folks know what's up.

Nikk, I'm so sorry I didn't pick for you. When I came to check on everyone, I wasn't on the list again (there are two Connies and we keep getting mixed up on the lists and links, and another time I was included because I was one of the later people), and so I didn't think I was chosen to pick and gave up. No one had picked for me either. Luckily, Ezi picked for you.

Thanks for your picks, Rachel. For some reason I missed this message and couldn't find the link for my picks this month. I usually see them, but didn't see your suggestions.

I love that you even gave me a bonus. I'm going to try them for May.

There's a couple ways you can tackle the problem. The first way would be to add a cute phrase at the end of your name in your profile like Ezinwanyi~ThatEzi, Jamie ~ Bad Boy Inspector, Joanne - is from Canada, or Danielle Gypsy Soul have done. Adding your last initial to your name would also help, as long as it is not the same as the other "Connie" in the lists' last name starting letter.

The second way would be to do like Sunshine✰✰✰ or ☘KathyD☘ and add symbols to your name in your profile page, to better distinguish yourself from anyone else with your same name. Makes you easier to find as well, if you're scanning the list!

Hope that helps/gives you some ideas!

Jenn (tellingmelies) | 540 comments Finished Not That Kind of Girl. I have mixed feelings about this. Like the message was good but not sure if the delivery really did it for me.

Hi Chelle - I read both my picks this month :-) Well, one I read a day early (Midnight Soul). I kind of forgot it was part of this challenge. But thoroughly enjoyed it and gave it 5 stars! The other was meh, but I done with the series, so that's good!! Thanks again for the picks!

Theo | 1929 comments I finished one book this month: The 5th Wave (The 5th Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey

I liked the premise, but the main female character got on my nerves. 3 stars.

message 119: by Jodi (new)

Jodi (jojolyn) | 673 comments I read all four books recommended to me. They were ok, nothing really "moved" me. I gave all four - 3 stars.

The Secret Sister (Fairham Island, #1) by Brenda Novak 4/12/17
Postmortem (Kay Scarpetta, #1) by Patricia Cornwell 4/13/17
Death of a Gossip (Hamish Macbeth, #1) by M.C. Beaton 4/19/17
The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick 4/22/17

message 120: by Esther (new)

Esther | 60 comments I read both my books Magic Bitter, Magic Sweet by Charlie N. Holmberg (which was cute but didn't really entice me to read more of the writer) and A Conjuring of Light (Shades of Magic, #3) by V.E. Schwab (which was a worthy closing to an awesome series!).

I have started Steelheart (Reckoners, #1) by Brandon Sanderson and I am quite intrigued...
