So I read this book a long time ago in 2009ish when I was 8 and I can't remember the name of it. I think it is a series and people from the future travel back in time and take famous people as babies to be raised sold off in the future. Their ship crashed though and so they were each adopted into different families in the modern world. There are around ten kids and the series centers on one boy who finds out he is adopted. The series is about fixing time and putting them back in their place while the original kidnappers try and chase them I think. This is all I can remember, I hope someone can recognize it.

This sounds like Found by Margaret Peterson Haddix. The series is called The Missing.
