Does it have to be the same book they read or any book? This is where my confusion comes in

So if you wanted to read a book off my shelf, you'd pick one I marked read on or after September 14, 2016.

Does that help?

The series rule does apply to this challenge! So if you read book #4, but I had only read the first book - I could still use your book for option 2. (I've done this a lot and nearly did again this week!)

Yep - thanks for the reminder!
Hope you enjoy your option 2 ;-) I love this series. I don't want it to end...

Does that help?"
That makes so much sense. Thanks for this!!!

Review: *Sigh* Zane!!!
I've never thought of writing a review for this series. I've been re-reading them, its something that just happened. Its really hard reading one and stopping. So why not, read them all even the ones that I dislike.
This book was really pivotal in the series for both guys. Ty having realized that he loves Zane in book 3 solidifies his feelings in this book. They still have a huge problem with communicating. I didn't care for the actual case but I liked the effects that it caused.
My baby Zane has finally come to grips with his feelings for Ty. It terrifies him more then he knows. Its kinda like the free falling thing that he doesn't deal well with. My favorite scenes out the entire series that slow dance was amazing. Every time its like I'm reading it for the very first time again. I did want Ty's reaction to Zane pronouncement of love to be a little less harsh, he doesn't know what it took Zane to say it. It could be all in my head, I've heard that I'm impartial to Zane. **Shrugs shoulders**.
All in all, it was a really good book for the guys. The introduction of Sidewinder made its way here, and they aren't leaving anytime soon. I'm going to continue on with my re-read!!

I really enjoyed this lovely little shifter novella. I don't read a whole lot of shifter stories and I have to admit that sometimes the insta-love and "mate, mine" gets on my nerves. I loved that in this story there was one MC that was instantly all in with the mate thing and one MC that was all "nope, not gonna happen buddy". lol! I just loved that Simon made Mitch chase and basically woo him into a relationship and the love declarations came later than usual in the book.
This story was also what I have come to expect when picking up a Cardeno C. book. Very sweet, fluffy, low-angst and slightly sappy. Definitely a great read between more intense books. I've already started on the next book in the series and am loving it.
On a side note, I picked these up in audiobook format and I love the narrators for both these books. Sean Crisden was amazing as always and so far, Nick J Russo is doing a great job with the second. Can't wait to see if we get more books in the series and what great narrators they'll choose for us to listen to. =)

Well, that was pretty darn perfect! It was packed with emotion, without losing any of the steam. What took me so long to read it?!
Nolan and Beth, the couple from Breaking Free, are back in this book. As they work to expand their family, they take in two boys from the shelter Beth volunteers at when their mother is in the hospital. As foster parents, they know the situation is temporary, but try to give the boys everything they can for that short time. We come to care for the boys as much at Nolan and Beth do and that was a big part of the emotional impact of this book. Grant and Connor had been through so much in their short lives, seeing them blossom and grow only to be thrust back into a bad situation was heartbreaking! Of course all ends well and I couldn't have been happier! I can't wait to see what is coming next in this series!

I know, right?? Course, I am just starting this week's selection, so I don't really have that problem this week ;-)

Yep, this series keeps getting better for me! I actually felt more connected to the characters in this one than earlier books. Maybe that's because as Cat's character comes to accept herself and her nature, she is truer to herself and that resonates with the reader. I hope we get to see more of Ian and Vlad who turned out to be great allies and friends but I'm worried about what will happen with Tate, I hope his story line doesn't end up in betrayal of Cat and Bones. I see a lot of ways this part of the story could go and most of them ending up painful for Cat. But for now, everyone is happy, or at least, at peace for the moment.

Review: This book was a retelling of Beauty and the Beast using a disfigured veteran and an investigative reporter. The story was predictable, but was full of emotion. it was a good read. This is the second book I have read by this author. I will definitely read more.

Review:
I thought this was going to be a bit of a change of pace for the series. The story line seemed like it would be a little softer. It was - there was no one molesting young girls in juvenile detention in this one - but not softer by much. We still had greedy politician types killing to cover their tracks and keep their money flowing. And they were ruthless if slightly less brutal than previous bad guys. I did enjoy the Native American culture the author shared through Kat's character. I really liked reading the dichotomy of the hero. He was a good man but the pain he suffered caused him to act as if he wasn't one, especially toward women, but he couldn't deny or ignore his true nature for long. He was a nurturer and protector at heart and it took his experiences with Kat to make peace with himself and his past.

Which one? At Grave's End or Naked Edge? (or both!?)"
Both, but I was talking about Naked Edge. I always remembered it as special, but I listened to it recently (the audios weren't out when I first read it and Kaleo is soo good!). It reminded me just why I loved it and gave me all the good feels again!
But I really do love Cat and Bones too, At Grave's End is darker than the previous books, but so very good!

Review — I have so missed the Reaper men! I loved getting the chance to know Gage/Cooper, as well as spend a little time with some old favorites...of course, since this book wasn’t set in Coeur d’Alene there wasn’t as much time as I would have liked. Still, I enjoyed getting to meet Tinker and her friends and dad. Gage and Tinker make a good couple, but their road to happily ever after took quite a while to get to. There were parts of this story that seemed really well developed, but other parts that seemed rushed or resolved way too quickly. All in all this is another wonderful installment from Ms. Wylde...now onto Shade and his lady!

Review:I really love Loc and Gwen together!!! They were super amazing together and this book was truly entertaining. I loved Loc as a H, he was steadfast, calm, and realistic. But most of all, I love how he treated Gwen. Gwen is my type of girl. That girl that has only 1 ride or die friend, who will do anything for each other. Gwen just wants to escape from the confines of her family. Going not very far to NYC and flourishing there, it seems like fate from the amount of times her and Loc bumps into one another. I laughed, it had steamy times, and was very good edition to the series.

I think I'm going to have to revisit this audiobook another time. I enjoyed the natrator immensely (Sebastian York is always fabulous) and loved Josy. Chase irritated me to no end for the first 70% of the book. I really liked how the ending came together though. Hopefully I'll be in a better mood for this type of book on the next go-round.

Review: Wow. This book was amazing and funny. The main characters are Irish so their banter in Irish brogue was funny. This is a story of two broken people finding each other. It is full of ups and downs. I laughed and cried. I have already downloaded the next book that continues their love story.

OH! I have plans for this book! Did you read Big Rock? How did it compare? I know it's not related as a series, but it seems she wrote this set of books all together, or were released that way, and so since I liked Big Rock (oooooh, that cover!!!), I picked up the other ones...

The books definitely go together (even though she calls them stand-alones) since they are all about the same group of friends. I really enjoyed all the others so far, but this one barely made a 3 star. I think it may have been more my mood than any lack in the book. My only piece of advice is to NOT read them all back to back. Space them out a bit because the humor and the way they are written is so similar that it can get a bit wearing if you indulge in too much at once. Otherwise they are fun and very sexy reads!
