Ciana, please add some plot details to your header. This helps people searching for your book.

What year did you read it or when was it published? Standalone or series? Author female or male? Remember the cover?

And what is the plot--trying to find a cure? Finding who made the virus? People wanting to leave Earth? And what age is it for--children's chapter, YA, NA, adult?

S. A. Please start your own thread for you book. To do this, go up to the right of the Discussion Board and select NEW next to Topics. Choose Unsolved for the Folder, type in a short description in the title--even if all you say is Sci-fi for YA or children. But a little description is even better, just no spoilers.

Then, in the Comment box put down every thing you can remember--including about WHEN you would have read it (after all, the other members of the group don't know when you were a kid or in high school, or college) what you can remember of the plot, if the mc was male or female, where it was set (what country, if it was city, town or country) when it was set (historical, future, steampunk, parallel Earth), any memories you have floating around about the cover. And yes, spoilers ARE allowed in the body of the description, since often it's the spoilers that help get your book found.

Ciana | 5 comments Thank you to the people commenting. Unfortunately I don't have much info. I think it was a Goodreads recommendation that I thought I put in my 'to read' shelf but I didn't. I don't believe it was a YA book, it didn't strike me that way. I got the impression from the book description that the virus may not have been real. Also, someone from the colony/space station may have volunteered to go to Earth. Reading the description gave me the feeling of a cross between 12 Monkeys/ Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep/ and Escape from New York.

Kristina | 137 comments The 100, it's YA but kind of fits.

Seveneves doesn't have he virus, but the second half of the book kind of fits.

Ciana | 5 comments Kristina Marie, thank you but it is not the book. It does look good so I'll probably read it anyway

Ciana, I just started my own thread for a similar book -- one that I think could be your book. Here's the link. I'll update you if I get a solve.

What are the symptoms of the virus? Is it deadly? Is anyone immune?
