Lots of people like to spend more time with their group doing something other than just discussing their main group topic. Do you have any ideas for games, challenges, or discussions (on or off topic) to add to our time-wasting quotient in this group? Are there things that other groups you belong to do that you think we'd have fun doing as well? If so, let's talk.

Thomas Everson (authorthomaseverson) There's always the 'would you rather game' which can be fun, and maybe a bit weird depending on the participants. :)

The classics group I'm in has tons of them. Check out this table of contents for lots of ideas. Steal any of them you like, none of the creators will mind, I'm sure:

There are so many over there. Which ones seem to have been most popular that you think would go over well with this group?

MK (wisny) | 188 comments 30-day challenge provides alot of interaction.

Scavenger hunt and A-Zs also are popular. You have versions of both of these here already.

The 30-day challenge isn't even done yet, and it was started over a year ago ;-). You don't have to go consecutively :D

I do like your 30-day challenge. It seems like just a list of 30 questions. Right?

Yes, exactly so. Trisha started it over a year ago :p.

I think I have about 5 more questions to think up :D

Cheryl (cherylllr) I like 'Is it on your shelves?'

A says a book title, which shelf(ves) it's on, and maybe a short note about it (eg, should I read it, or, I recommend it to all of you, or whatever).

B reports whether that book is on their shelves (or maybe reports that it is getting added now), and says another book title and which of their shelves it's on, starting the cycle over again immediately.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Exactly. :)

I'll get to some of these next time I'm not thumb- typing while on GoodReads. :-)
