10.8 - Build A Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge opened to pedestrians on May 27, 1937. Read a book with the word "bridge" or "bridges" (no other variations) in its title/subtitle OR with a bridge on the cover. A bridge is a structure spanning and providing passage over a river, chasm, road, or the like.
REQUIRED: if the cover option is chosen, include the cover in your post.

Since it looks like it goes over water it works as a bridge

I don't think this spans the water and provides passage. It looks like there is a fence/railing at the end. I think that is a pier- supported by the description "When Sky falls from Blackfin Pier and drowns..."

If I'm missing something please point it out.

I don't see a bridge- I see what may be a peninsula.
If you point out what you are seeing I'll take another look

Are either of these covers bridgey enough to work? The angles at which the pictures were taken makes it kind of difficult to tell."

Brooklyn by Colm Tóibín is OK, there's enough structure for a bridge.
You can't really see enough of the first to know that it is a bridge.
