I submitted an article and it appeared today online. Since boomers are my target market hopefully I'll see some sales.http://www.boomercafe.com/2017/06/09/...
My good news, I am finally beginning to get some results from mommy/homeschool bloggers! I am being featured on Pro Educational Toys, the current #1 blog spot on Top Baby Blogs, this week and next! Here is the link to part one: http://proeducationtoys.blogspot.com/...
This was so interesting, Erica! As I do all those things with my son who is ten and autistic/nonverbal and have been doing those important steps for the past eight years, since before his diagnosis that you've incorporated in the article. His speech pathologist, teachers and I have been doing these techniques along with kinesthetic learner, visual aids and visual cues among other techniques, including American Sign Language (ASL) (which my son has been fluent in by the way since he was a toddler). He picked it from a friend of mine who was fluent in ASL, just by watching her do it when she was signing the bible to the deaf members of her local church. It's beautiful and amazing what children absorb when we're not looking. I think any child who is from baby to elementary school age in particular can most benefit, especially those who have disabilities involving cognitive speech and communicative disorders. My son has been making steady and exceptional progress everyday. Thanks for your expertise! I know he and I are on the right track.
Ok, guys! I just set up a Twitter. My first one went glitchy all of a sudden and finally after months of fighting through the glitch each time trying to set one up again...Eureka! I'm back on Twitter again. Too bad I lost my following since I had to start all over again with a new one. It took me two years to gain that following. I'd be so grateful if you guys would follow me on Twitter. A lot of you I have already followed. Here's my Twitter handle, please spread the word. Thanks lots you guys!https://twitter.com/goddessamabo23
I am still trying to catch up with all the threads but hope this is the best place to cheer!Writer's Choice writers co-operative - that's me and my writer colleagues - are celebrating wildly today because this is our fourth year of being an Indie publishing group and one of our members has given us another competition success.
G.J. Berger has won the San Diego Historical Fiction Award for 2016-17 with his novel 'Four Nails'. We are bursting with pride because it is a great book and we wanted it to be successful for GJ.
This means that we have had competition successes every year of our existence. And none of us would have been published if we had left it to our agents and the traditional publishers. Go Indies is all I can say!
Hi, everyone, I received Honorable Mention for Educational Children's Books in the Purple Dragonfly book Awards for ¡HOLA! Let's Learn Spanish.
Happy 4 year anniversary P.D.R.! And congrats Judy on the honorable mention. That is quite an achievement! :)
Carole wrote: "That's wonderful, Judy!"Thanks, Carole..do you think it is worth mentioning that I (or anyone) received an "honorable mention"?
Marvellous news everyone. (I've got nothing, well I haven't tipped coffee down myself yet today. Spose that's something.)
I got my Kirkus review back today!! So pleased! (I was sweating bullets when I got the email notification that it was ready.)https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-re...
