A lot of monster porn is m/m... you sure about that?"
Seems that you'd be safe with the "Debbie"...
I'm almost finished A Spark Unseen, sequel to The Dark Unwinding. My feelings towards it are mixed. I like it, I do... but this one is more sort of intrigue/mystery and I kinda of miss the more gothicy elements from the first book.
So I guess I am liking it, but I'm also a bit disappointed that it's not quite what I was anticipating...
Finished Prince of Fools and I loved it. In a way it is Prince of Thorns 2.0. But - Lawrence has become a better writer between series. I liked Thorns but it was rough around the edges. Fools is a much smoother ride. And is one of my favorite books so far this year. Next up is The Alchemist of Souls. A little late in the month but I should finish before July. ;)
I finished The Left Hand of Darkness, which was slow at times but I'm glad I read it, and Annihilation, which was fucking amazing. I will pick up the second book soon. Now I started Blindsight for next month's read and the prologue ends on an awesomely horrifying note. I think I really like this whole sci-fi/horror thing.
Making my way through Hard Magic in iBooks, The Strain in Kindle, and Dune in paperback. It's possible I have commitment issues

Just finished Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett (on app, so can't link. Sorry...) which I absolutely loved. I've just started The Broken Kingdoms by N.K Jemisin which is interesting so far. It's the second in the Inheritance Trilogy which seems to have really divided people, so I'm intrigued to see how it plays out :)

If you like Dune, you should look at the Destination:Void series, also from Frank Herbert. Book 1, Destination:Void, is hard to read as it's like an essay on what makes a person, or a computer sentient, but the next three books are AWESOME!!! Jesus Incident, Book 2 in the Destination: Void is incredible, I'm reading that now. I'd highly recommend books 2, 3 and 4.

I've started Jim Henson's Labyrinth: The Novelization which I just found this morning at the bookstore. I love this movie. I felt like a kid in a ... Well a bookstore. Whatever. I was happy. :)I also got Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal: The Novelization. But I'm not sure if I ever saw that one. If I did I don't remember it.
