I found the other Outlander books! They were hidden in a zipped file that Calibre couldn't find...
I'm making good progress on The Other Boleyn Girl while not reading Day After Night: A Novel. I like them both, but The Other Boleyn Girl is going faster. I'm still working on Les Misérables. I'm trying to read 2 emails/day just to catch up, but it's not exactly something that can be breezed through.

I'm going to finish Dragonfly in Amber this weekend, I am determined! I really am enjoying this book! (I've just been so tired at night that I have no motivation to read!) My biggest problem is going to be deciding what to read next... hmmmm...
I don't know, but I like that I'm finally catching up with you! I'm still working on Les Miserables (it's a looooong book...). I started Outlander this weekend and am enjoying it (I'm at the part where she goes back in time). Last night I started Tallgrass after finishing Day After Night.
I think when I'm done with World Without End, we should try to read something together again. Anna Karenina, Oliver Twist, Jane Eyre, and Wuthering Heights are a few of the classics that I have and have been wanting to read. What do you think? I probably will be done with World Without End mid-June.
As much as I want to read Anna Karenina, I think that Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights would be better options. :)
It wouldn't have to be a classic if you have any better ideas. We can always wait and decide when we get closer to it, but I just wanted to put it out there...
I'm really digging the Millennium series! It's a shame that the author died before it could be published, but at least it got published!
Voyager is quite good too - I haven't decided if I'll read the fourth book next, or take a break. I want to continue reading it, but there's no need to plow through it as it will be at least a year and half (maybe longer) before the next one is out!

I want to read the Millennium series! It's definitely on my list.
I started The Divide last night. I really liked the other 3 Nicholas Evans books I've read... I got about 60 pages done in about 35 minutes, so I don't think it'll take me too long to read it.
I'm still working on Les Misérables. I'm down to having 6 e-mails of it in my inbox to read (at one point earlier this month, I had over 20...). I like the parts where he's actually telling a story. It makes me mad when he abruptly stops the story to spend 5 pages telling the history of a building.
Stardust is on hold until I find my earphones. I want to finish listening to it, but if I have to stay in the same room that the story is running in, it's too annoying to listen to it at home.
I'm about 17 pages into World Without End. The daughter has just stolen a money purse from a knight. I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it as soon as I can devote more time to it.

I marked The Divide as to read! :)
I agree - the 300ish pages on the Battle of Waterloo annoyed me to no end... the first time I read the book, I pretty much skipped this section. I did read it the second two times!

The authors I'm reading now start with E, F, G, and H. I didn't plan it, but it's kind of a funny coincidence...
Halfway through The Princess Bride, and read the first few pages of The Red Pyramid this morning. :)
I finished Stardust last night and will be finishing The Divide tonight. Then I'll be caught up with you (unless you finish one in the next couple of days)! :)
Ohhhh it's on! :) Well, I only have two cd's left of The Girl Who Played with Fire, and about 100 pages left of The Princess Bride.... Hopefully I'll finish both this weekend. I've just started The Red Pyramid... only a few pages in, and I'm hooked!
LOL! Ummm... I still have to FINISH those books silly! Besides, you're going to blow me out of the water soon... How am I going to catch up to you???
I just finished Half Broke Horses, which was a great book with wonderful descriptions of life in the "wild west". I would like to read The Glass Castle and saw that you already had. Do you own it? Or did you borrow it? If you do have it, could I borrow it?
Theoretically, I own The Glass Castle. The problem is that I don't know where it is. If I can find it, it's yours! (I'll look for it today or tomorrow!)
Ohhhh oops! Ummmm, well, you can't tell me that you actually thought Percy Jackson would die, eh? :) Seriously, maybe he does! Maybe he fails and is brought back to life by his dad? Huh? Ever think of that? :)
Maybe he does die? Maybe Annabeth and Grover save him? Maybe Grover dies! Annabeth might meet her end in a dismal way!
Mu ha ha ha!!!!!
If you like Egyptian mythology, you might want to read The Red Pyramid... I thought it was okay. Honestly, I enjoyed Percy Jackson better - probably because I know a lot more about Greek mythology.

I might have to steal that one... but I have so many others to read that I might just save that one until I can read multiples of the series.
Yeah, I understand! I think that his blog post said he's hoping to have the next one written by the spring of 2011... Not too far off, but long enough that I'd probably do the same. In fact, I would have done the same if I would have known. :)
Do you think Wim can find the "Tres Navarre" series by Rick Riordan for e-reader? There are 7 of them (I think). He wrote them a while ago for adults. If he can do kids books this well, I'd like to see what he can do for adults...
We looked this morning... nothing! (The ICPL doesn't have them either!) I think I'm going to get this from Amazon.com - I'm very interested! If I get them, would you like to borrow mine, or would you want your own copy?
I'm reading The Street of a Thousand Blossoms right now, which I think I've mentioned... I am really liking this book. It is reminding me so much of what I've always found so intriguing about Japan and Japanese culture. I hope that the rest of the books is as good as the first 50 pages! :)
I would borrow them from you if you had them... The Street of a Thousand Blossoms sounds like a good book. I might have to borrow that one too! I'm reading the last one of yours that I have right now (Autumn Bridge).
I think I'll get the first book in that Rick Riordan series, and if we like it, we can get more. Sound good?
You MUST read Street of a Thousand Blossoms! It's beautiful so far! (You also do need to read Phantom too...)
Oh, and let me know when you plan to read Leaping Beauty!

I'd better not regret this... I just bought the first four books because they were all 4 for 3... We'll have them on Thursday!
I could read it anytime! I don't think it will take very long, though it might be better to read one story/day instead of the entire book in one sitting...
Good plan with the Riordan books.

LOL! Finding a fourth book won't be that hard! I figure that even if I'm not the biggest fan, I can suffer my way through four of them - if we can "save" $7.99, we should! :) I wish the Sony bookstore would do a 4 for 3!
I love how we rationalize our book buying addictions... I do the same thing though! I agree that Sony should get on the 4 for 3 bandwagon.
It's just that we know the value of a good deal! We did used to work in retail... don't forget those amazingly good lessons!
