Level: Dedicated (12++, or in my case, maybe that should be committed - as in to a psych ward?) ..."
Kay, I am right there with you! Looks like my count for January is 32 books! I considered calling 12+ books Insane Level, but thought that was too negative a connotation!

I could add that in...look up at the top and see what you think!

LOL, I'll likely be at the same point!

"
Yeah, now all I have to do is remember which books I'm SUPPOSED to read... with my sieve of a memory (memory what?)

I have to keep 2-3 lists every month to keep me on track!

Aww, that was so sweet of him! Glad you got your Kindle back!

I wind up tending to ignore the goodies when that happens, to the point of not bothering to look up the goodies, EVER!
What I hate is when you buy a book, thinking that the book takes most of the XXX pages it's listed as having, only to have the actual story consume roughly 50% of the book, and the rest of the book is nothing but 1-2 chapter samples of the author's other works! Makes me feel cheated out of my book funds!

I know, right? and then there are the authors who insist on including their how-to-whatever crap in every book of the same series... almost set me off one author, but I complained and complained and complained and now she doesn't do that anymore. The books are so much more enjoyable without the crap.
There are a couple of series however, that do have worthwhile recipes at the end of the books. One is the Charlotte Denver series by Sherri Bryan. Book two of the series has an excellent recipe for an asparagus and mushroom risotto that I now fix a LOT (well, my aides do). I've adjusted it to make it my own... I use a seafood stock and add shrimp most of the time. Very delish. There are a few others in there I want to try as well... some others have good recipes too. I almost want a cookbook by some of these authors!

Joanne Fluke was another one that had recipes in every one of her books...I'm not a baker, so never did any of them, but they sounded good!

ARCs are totally fine, Elizabeth! Grats on Finishing!

Thanks to Kay (Brigidsmomma) for the suggestion of this challenge!
The e-reader has made reading accessible for a lot of people that were previously unable to read due to failing eyesight or inability to hold the weightier hardcovers and paperbacks. It also allows people to have thousands of books, right at their fingertips, or gives them the ability to hide what they are reading (like me! Reading romances exclusively leads to some embarrassing covers being shown!).
How It Works
◈Pick a Level
◈Pick which task group you will do, and you are allowed to pick multiple groups!
◈All books read must be e-books, but can be on any platform (Kobo, Nook, Kindle, PC, etc)!
◈There are no page minimums for the challenge!
