mrbooks | 2016 comments Hi and welcome Sonya Ori is nuts I'm just plain crazy LOL. Is it true that lunacy is contagious?

Groovy Lee Hope everyone is doing okay. Haven't heard from you lately. And I think it's time to change to 'greetings and idle chat thread of 2018'--right?

Orinoco Womble (tidy bag and all) | 2568 comments Yup, it is. Frenchie having done her annual disappearing act,

Tag! You're it!

it's your turn to make the new thread. I did it last year.

Groovy Lee Awwww, come on, Orinoco:) If I can remember, I will:)

And without going into my sappy end-of-year speech, I'm just going to say, I hope you all have a safe, fun weekend. Take care of yourselves as you celebrate. And see you in 2018.

mrbooks | 2016 comments Yup safe and fun was at home so nothing wild happening here LOL.

Orinoco Womble (tidy bag and all) | 2568 comments I slept surprisingly well New Year's Eve, much less noise with fireworks etc than I expected. Unfortunately DH has a thundering cold, which means he snores like a bullhorn...and someone left their dog alone all night and he howled until 4.30 AM when I finally got some sleep. It was one of those nights that I get to the place that I just don't wanna read or listen to music any more--I want to sleep!

mrbooks | 2016 comments Sleep is so over rated, you can't get anything worthwhile done when your asleep. LOL I hear you Ori try suffering from occasional insomnia four day with no sleep was an average at one point in my life. The problem is when I did finally fall asleep it was always the wrong time and place at work is where it normally happened.

Groovy Lee It seems all I do is sleep when I'm not active. It only happens when I sit down to watch TV. It doesn't matter, day or night.

My father used to do that, he had apnea. Sit down for five minutes, he'd be gone. He used to boast that he could sleep whenever he wanted to, but it was a problem, not a plus.
