Candice (locomonobano) | 78 comments Finished #4 -
Heartless by Marissa Meyer
I hope this still counts. I've read other books by her, but this wasn't from a series.

I liked it so much! It just proves to me that it doesn't matter if I know the ending, the journey there is the most riveting!

Gremlin I think you missed my last update Snow Like Ashes (Snow Like Ashes, #1) by Sara Raasch Also I'm going to keep going but a lot of my books I have to read are adult. Am I right to say that's allowed after you've finished your 6?

Yes, I clearly did! Thanks for letting me know.

You bet! That's exactly what I was saying. I feel like once you've run through the challenge as is, the rest is gravy and up to you to decide what to read (though I'm happy to keep track with you).

Listing all my books again. The original post went from showing I had 4/6 completed to 1/6, wanna make sure I get credit. Been working hard on this challenge. What makes it hardest for me is that I read mostly series, so only the 1st one counts, lol Only 1 more to go!! :)

Round 2
#1-New Series The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey Call of the Forgotten, #1) by Julie Kagawa *Finished 2/13/17*

message 180: by Anna Kay (new)

Anna Kay (annakaybooks) | 697 comments I finished #2/6, The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee (YA, new author). It was just "meh," I had some issues with it overall. It was nice to see a historical M/M romance set in that particular time period, which is rare in YA as of yet.

Also, a question. I finished Paper Princess (The Royals, #1) by Erin Watt today but am unsure as whether it counts as teen or adult. It's shelved in the teen section at my library but has more of a New Adult feel. Thoughts from a mod?

Yeah - this seems like New Adult, and the Chicago Public Library (my go-to for decisions on where to shelf books) has it shelved in the adult fiction section. So we'll call this one adult.

I've been going back to slowly read older classics that I either haven't read before, or only read for school. And after it was mentioned so much in Everything, Everything, and it was free on Prime reading, i figured why not?
