American Gods is one of my favorite books -- I can say with confidence it's good. :)

YESSS - have you heard there is going to be a TV series? I've heard such great things about this book that I am hoping to read it and then watch the show (definitely the book first!!).
American Gods is great! Similarly, Good Omens by Gaiman is really good.
