Brandi, I liked the first Odd book better than the second. I'm interested to know what you think of the rest of the series. Brother Odd was more interesting to me than book two but then I missed the next and never got back to it. I could add it to my 2018 finish series list but probably not.
I'm reading Eve Langlais C791. After the SF romance and paranormal I have checked out it's back to cozy mystery.

Finishing February hoopla and library borrows before getting back to cozy mystery. Just finished listening to the first three of Eve Langlais' Cyborgs: More Than Machines series. C791, F814, B785. Rest of series ebook and neither library nor hoopla have any of them.

I'm reading and loving my first Fairy book. It's the YA~ , such fun!

I'm about 1/3 of the way through . It's well-written, suspenseful and topical. Looks like I might have to add Brad Parks to my author's list!

Finished G.A. Aiken Dragon Kin #9 Bring the Heat. Started Eve Langlais Space Gypsy Chronicles. Noticed the library had 1-4, Pirate, Sinner, Rebel, King. The opportunity was too good to pass up even though what I was checking my wish list for was available cozy mystery series.

Not cozy in any way. Read 1-4 of Eve Langlais Space Gypsy Chronicles: Pirate, Sinner, Rebel, King. Not fun. More like one long book than 4 books in a series. King came out in April 2017 and it stops with a nasty cliff hanger ending. By halfway through series I was asking, "Where's James T. Kirk? We need his abilities." Saying what abilities would be spoiler.

Sleep Like a Baby by Charlaine Harris I really didnt care for it to much

The Middleman by Olen Steinhauer Won it on a giveaway Great thrills, wonderful flow, however political thrillers But still very good book I will have to check out more from him!

The New Neighbors by Simon Lelic Won it on giveaway This is a wonderfully dark and twisted psychological thriller by Simon Lelic I like this book more then his other book read in January! Very Good!

Wish You Were Here by Rita Mae Brown I really loved this book i am so gonna get more book in this series

Caught up on reading Eve Langlais Dragon Point series. Re-read first ones. Hadn't read Assassin Next Door first time I read #2Dragon Squeeze but was aware of connection. The female main character in #5Dragon Reborn turned out to be smart and funny instead of the annoyingly tstl character she first appeared. Next one Demon Walking is due out later this year.

I have listened to most of David's novels and enjoy them immensely. Lots of action and fun characters. Some plot twists from time to time.
Amos is a fellow all of his own. I may end up liking him the best.

I used to read Jude Deveraux but then she did the Forever Trilogy and I disliked each one more than the previous one. I have read a few Deveraux since but she is no longer automatic buy/read for me.

Last week I finished The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. This book is outstanding! It tells the story from a point of view we never hear. On a scale of one to five, this one is a ten.

Read this last year and it was one of my top 3 reads for the whole year. VERY good!

I've heard it's a lot different than the Martian but I haven't read that one yet. It's a heist caper on the moon and I found the characters were fun. I assume The Martian went into extreme detail about technical apparatus, etc. This did too but the plot was very fast paced for just over 300 pages.

I just finished Sudden Death by David Rosenfelt (which somehow I had missed on audio). I love the Andy Carpenter novels and especially Grover Gardner's narration!

I'm a few pages into Manderly Forever by Tatiana de Rosnay. It's non-fiction that reads like a novel and so far it's very intriguing. It's very appealing even to someone like me who has read only 2 of Du Maurier's novels.

Let's hear it for guilty pleasures! But I've set it aside to read another cozy series, "The Abby and Ophelia" series by Damsgaard. I was in the mood for something witchy. I'll go back to "Fever" next week.
