I'm loving this series so far. I hate to see it end. I haven't tried the audio on these books. Maybe next time around.

Robin (robinmy) | 3481 comments This week I finished listening to Forever and the Night (Vampire, #1) by Linda Lael Miller Forever and the Night by Linda Lael Miller. It's the first book in her vampire series (published 1993). Not a favorite of mine.

Today I finished The Black Box (Harry Bosch, #18; Harry Bosch Universe, #24) by Michael Connelly The Black Box by Michael Connelly. This book was one of my favorite in the series.

I finished listening to The Black Box by Michael Connelly, Harry Bosch Universe #24, and really enjoyed this one, despite the change in narrators. Here’s my review.

I finished Make Her Pay by Roxanne St. Claire, Bullet Catchers #8, and it just might be my favorite to date. It was excellent! Here’s my review.

I'm listening to Divine Evil by Nora Roberts (almost done and really enjoying) and reading Exposed by Laura Griffin, Tracers #7.

Monica | 860 comments I forgot to update what I've been reading!

I finished Duke of Desire (Maiden Lane #12) by Elizabeth Hoyt. This is the most recent release and brings me up to date with the series. I liked this book. But I also had a hard time with it. The hero deals with something tragic in his past, and sometimes right after talking about it, he and the heroine went right into sexy times, while I'm still reeling from the flashbacks. No bueno.

I also finished Crazy on You (Lovett, Texas #2) and Rescue Me (Lovett, Texas #3) by Rachel Gibson. I loved both, but really loved Crazy on You.

Monica | 860 comments I finished Talk Sweetly to Me (Brothers Sinister #4.5) by Courtney Milan. I really enjoyed it. This was my first historical (regency) romance with a black woman as the main character, and I loved her. I wish this had been a full length novel so it could have addressed racial issues in more detail, but no complaints other than that. I am now up to date on this series.

Monica | 860 comments I just finished the first book in a series, it's been on my TBR for a while and with the new Romance Package at Audible, I felt it was time to get to it. Easy Love (Boudreax #1) by Kristen Proby. I mostly liked it, definitely enough to continue to the next book.

Now I'm listening to Ice Blue (Ice #3) by Anne Stuart. I'm looking forward to getting back into this series. Again, Audible's Romance Package for the win.

Jeff I just finished Two Kinds of Truth (Harry Bosch, #22; Harry Bosch Universe, #29) by Michael Connelly (Harry Bosch Universe, #29), which will be the last series that I'll either finish or catch up on this year. I did make a lot of progress on a couple others and should easily catch up on all of these in 2018. I'm not a binger - I like to rotate through multiple series as well as non-series books, so I've read about 40 books that are part of series this year, but only 5 of them got me caught up or completed. I may get in one more of a couple of these by the end of the year, the rest I'll resume and probably complete in 2018:

A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, #4) by George R.R. Martin (Song of Ice and Fire, #4)
Gone Tomorrow (Jack Reacher, #13) by Lee Child (Jack Reacher, #13)
Enemy of the State (Mitch Rapp, #16) by Kyle Mills (Mitch Rapp, #16)
Twelve Days (John Wells, #9) by Alex Berenson (John Wells, #9)
The Fix (Amos Decker #3) by David Baldacci (Amos Decker #3)
