Next up is Fat Angie for the group themed read.

I am listening to 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, which is being a lot of fun, something I wasn't expecting to be honest.
I will be starting tomorrow A Man Called Ove that is my book club pick for February.

I hope you enjoy A man called Ove, I loved it!

I'm still slogging my way through the 1170 page A Storm of Swords. I don't think I'm even half way.

This is my second 5 * star read this year and in 2016 I only had 5 books I rated 5 stars. So great start to my 2017 year of books. :-)

Next up on audiobook is Circle of Reign. It's also for the survey challenge, and likely a bit more mature of a high fantasy adventure.

Next up is Temeraire, a book I am very excited to finally read. It is also for the survey challenge.

I remember reading it in High School. My mom had a paperback copy that was about an inch and a half thick. It took me forever! I do not think I ever realized that it was published in 1880.

Never heard of him, sorry! Maybe you need to be our guinea pig?

I have heard about him, but havn't have the occasion to read something from him.

Sounds interesting & Wikipedia says it was a 19th century best seller.

I joined a book discussion hosted by Karpov Kinrade. The book Negroland: A Memoiris really interesting, but not one of theirs.

Before I started reading it, I noticed that the author had a review that stated that after he had first published the book, another author, David Farlane, took him under his wing and helped him rewrite the story. I have the original edition. In order to obtain the new edition, I would have to return it to Audible for a $5.95 coupon, and then buy the new edition at the full price (or use a credit). I'm not prepared to do that.
At first, I was enjoying the story, but it is evident that this is a first book effort, badly in need of the rewrite it subsequently received.
I will start Hard Magic on audiobook tomorrow.

I hope the next book works out better and it's too bad Audible doesn't offer a better exchange.

Next up for me is Roseblood for the monthly challenge.

@Kristie - I'll read the novella at some point but I'm tempted to come back to it after I've read the main books. After all, it is the most recent book of them all. I need to read the books so I can watch the tv series which is coming out this year.

I really liked

I am almost finished with

For fun I am reading

This weekend I will also finish

I liked that one.

I started Eleventh Grave in Moonlight for my hot off the press challenge.

Yay, Janice! Was it worth the time spent on it?

I am going to give A Gentleman in Moscow a try instead. This will also count for my survey challenge.

Oh yeah. :) I can't stop thinking about all the characters and the intrigue.

The problem with these chunksters is that they take up so much time that I feel like I'm not accomplishing anything. I'll probably watch Season 3 on DVD before I tackle book 4.

Nothing put me more out of reading mood as a serie which is scattered (one could say dispelled) along the years. I need to read the whole story at once. Hence I cannot stand those books which are thought as a solid story and then they will be "elongated" in the most stilted manner.

I think I am going to try out Brandon Sanderson and pick up The Final Empire. Hopefully that will help!

I'm unsure what to read next. We're about to start a buddy read of The Teleportation Accident but my copy hasn't come in at the library yet. I'll wait and see what the day brings... and the library. Hehehe!
