For my first book, I read The Invasion of the Tearling - ignoring the leading article "the," starts with "I" - 544 pages.

For my second book, I used the letter "R," again ignoring the leading article "the," and read The Risen: A Novel (this was an ARC of the paperback edition). 272 pages.

Total combined pages 544 + 272 = 826, exceeding the 500 page required minimum.
