A Solivagant on the Inselberg

And I'd be about to give you a real hug!

I trip all the time

Well, I didn't have that, but in French this week we had to call a phone number that would store our oral projects that we were recording. And guess what?! I was so nervous I called the wrong number!! I left a WHOLE voicemail in French on some random phone. My teacher thought it was hilarious, but I wonder how good my project was considering I had to do it over and was embarrassed the whole time.
Later I went to Mr. Knox's to heat up my lunch (how I visit, haha!) and he said it made his day, so I guess that's the one good thing about that whole ordeal! I called the number back while there and left an English voicemail apologizing, and have gotten no response, so at least I don't have to suffer for it.
Also today some random guys just sat down next to my friend and I in the hallway at lunch and started asking our names. I ignored them and kept discussing chem with my friend, but I was honestly creeped out XD They kept shoving each other and therefore us *sighs* One of them emphasized the single status of his friend. Thankfully they left but I had a back up plan! I would have gone into a teacher's room and said "do you want me to ask you to leave me alone, or this teacher?"
Our English classes are being filmed for my teacher's purposes. We were told to act normal on camera but it was so hard XD I can't offer my usual deep analyses when I am thinking about appearance, Haha. Plus, guess who was filming?
Hope you're alright, just figured I'd come and give you a few stories to liven things up from my usual "I'm busy" posts.

Let's say I was almost about to get out those knives lest someone was bothering you, but lol this is hilarious! I'm sorry for laughing, but I was in a bad mood until I saw this xD Well, it was an accident after all, so I'm sure they will understand :)
Oh gosh! That has never and most likely will never happen to me, so I sympathize for you. Good thing they left before you had to do that :)
Haha we were being photographed in class recently as well, and the teacher couldn't stop laughing at how much futile effort we put to try to look natural xD Ooooooohhhhh Mr. Knox???
I must have wished to die some 1089754380000 times since I got up, but these posts make me feel less lonely :)

Lid for Temper
I'm going to start with yesterday because I forgot to write about some stuff.
When I reached school in the morning, my friend and I were lazy to climb up to our classes on the third floor, so we took the elevator. Taking the elevator is not allowed for students unless you broke your leg or something, and usually calls for a fine. But the two of us checked to see if any teacher was around and quickly got in. It was the first time either of us had used it, so it was kind of fun. The way we ran out before any teacher saw where we came from was simply epic xD
Everyone knows I love tea, right? Everyone except my family. Well, I've been buying and drinking it every morning at school because in spite of being British, Mum refuses to give me tea because she doesn't like it. So yesterday, during the break, I told Iz that I was going to the canteen (and she told me to steal a spoon from there?), and K, H2 and M were on their way to the washroom along with me. I happened to walk in front of them at one point, and K who noticed me asked, "Hallie, where are you going?" I replied, "Canteen." And then she said in a patronising tone, "Did Iz send you?" Ummmm so I wouldn't want to go to the canteen otherwise? I keep doing favours for Iz and since she and K are acting like best friends and worst enemies simultaneously, everyone including them is confused about their friendship, making them stab each other in the back whenever the other isn't around. It's annoying, and K now says that I'm Iz's friend. Yeah...... I nearly killed myself to stop K from hurting herself due to some drama, and this is what I get. Fucking 'isn't she your best friend now?' I legit brought back the cup of tea to class and to show them that I went for me, not as a slave for Iz - as K describes.
Skipping time to today because the rest is irrelevant, the first period I had today was Physics lab, and it drove me nuts. I bet my blood pressure was super high. So my actual partner from last year left the school, so I don't have one now. There's another without a partner, so last week, we paired up to do the experiment. We figured we would do it together again. Today's experiment was rather annoying. It has to do with finding the refractive index of water. The procedure involves placing a mirror (and a lens later) and making an object pin coincide with its image. Then do the same with water on the mirror and lens. The problem was we took forever to do the first part without the water. Every time I adjusted it and made it somewhat fine, my partner said that the tip wasn't coinciding and she tried to adjust it, but ended up making the distance between the object and image larger by adjusting legit everything. 50 fucking minutes and we had not even got one reading. I was so annoyed and angry I was clenching my fists and biting my tongue to prevent myself from breaking the apparatus and losing my head. That would have landed me in trouble because the teacher was right beside us.
I kept showing her my adjustments and suggested that we show the teacher, but she always tried to make adjustments and messed up my previous ones. So finally after half the class was over (50 minutes, 50 fucking minutes), I adjusted it, did not show her and directly called the teacher. When the teacher checked it, she said it was perfect and complimented us. We were so relieved because.... Finally! My partner took a look after the teacher went, and she was like, "Hey, if this was enough, we got it long back." I don't really blame my partner, though. I admit most of my anger was directed at her at that moment, but she usually doesn't hold anyone back and even during the previous experiment, we were the first to finish. This one was tricky and we were both frustrated with the apparatus, so we began to sweat even though it was chilly inside. The rest went pretty smooth and the teacher said all our adjustments were perfect, and our calculations were close to the actual value, so I guess it was fine. But I thought I would snap. I really thought I would snap, and I don't know how I controlled that anger because I'm a very, very hot tempered person who never puts a lid on my temper. And at the beginning of the class, H2 whispered to me, "Tell the teachers of the next two hours that I'm absent." Well, she left for the entire day and none of us know why.
Once again, I went to the canteen for the tea and one of my classmates came there to have something. She was with me yesterday as well, but it was crowded and we once talked briefly. However, our lab left us 20 minutes really early, so there was almost no one. I was there first and I had just lifted the cup even she came. My Math teacher had told us on Tuesday to drink a cup of tea before her class because most of us were dozing (Iz and I did, but we were still half asleep), so as soon as my classmate came, she laughed and said, "So you're doing what *insert name of Math teacher* said?" Then we were standing in awkward silence as I was drinking and she was eating something, so I asked where she stayed because she was always at the canteen during breaks and I was wondering if she lived so far that she couldn't have breakfast or something. A small conversation started but it ended as soon as we got to the classroom.
And then we had two continuous hours of Math -_- As if I wasn't pissed already. Two hours calculating the probability of events only intensified my urge to kill myself. Well, I wasn't the only one: the teacher herself was pissed because the entire class was pissed and no one answered as soon as she asked her questions. That was just horrible!!! By the way, my teacher did ask if had that tea because unlike last class, we weren't about to sleep. In the middle, the class rep came to each of us with a sheet of paper to sign in after checking our details. I got mine pretty fast, but even after Math, 90% of the class did not get to sign theirs. It was jumbled and the class reps of all classes were running around, so it was a mess. Apparently they had to hand it in today, and they just got it today. So the class rep told everyone to stay in class during lunch to finish it off, but K and M went to the canteen telling me to inform the rep. K was in pain because she was on her period and she didn't eat anything since the morning. Iz too had not eaten anything, but she couldn't go because she wasn't call to sign yet. So I volunteered to go and get her something from the canteen. Again. I don't know why I do this. At least she's grateful at the moment. Yeah, I got screwed because I was the one who had to inform that K wasn't there.....
In nutshell, I'm super annoyed and for some strange reason, every part of my body hurts, so after school gets over in 20 minutes, I'm off to go die.

I love GR. And all u guys!

Exactly! Exactly! The people who really know me live across the world - you guys.

I love my space!
*hugs*
I think no matter how much we give them hints they never pick up on them. They just keep believing what they do.

Precisely!!! And yet they say that they know everything about us when they don't.

We know u better than u! And they seem to always know what's best for us.
I believe some think they just can't be wrong.
