that's fine for reading a book. However, you need to provide enough information in your post so that the task can be verified - and since J. Lynn is not listed in the Good Minds listing, you need to provide the appropriate information in your post.

Repost of #2253
After the publication date of The Unfinished Clue was modified to 1934

So Total should be 410

Nick (doily) | 3392 comments Sandy,

the last Readerboard posting shows me at 910. I have 935 in my totals. I have been on the Wall of Shame so much this time around, I easily could have missed something. (Hangs head in shame.) But I can't find a mistake. Can you double check? Am I having another Wall of Shame moment?

Thanks

A list of GRA at the top of your post will not work. It makes checking books unnecessarily difficult. If you would like GRA tickets, please mention that the author is a GRA next to the specific book.

I found the problem, Nick - one 25 pointer got missed in the various re-shufflings. It's fixed now.

The edition of Spirit Gate you've linked to has only 445 pages and is, therefore, not eligible for a Big Book ticket. If you read an edition with 500+ pages, please repost this task including a link to the edition you read. Please indicate at the top of the repost that the post is only to claim BB ticket and not for new points.

Task 25.3, option 4 requires that your "apples" book not have any "oranges" genre on the main page. One Summer lists romance, an "apples" genre, but also lists mystery, an "oranges genre" on the main page.

For task 30.6, option 3, in addition to a baby on the cover, the task requires that "baby" or a synonym (newborn, infant, etc) must appear in the title/subtitle or in the book description."

I don't see "baby" or any likely synonym in the title of The Madonna of Excelsior or in the description of the book.

Andy P post 2445

The link you posted for 25.2, dystopia, is not for the correct book. However, I used the link to the author to pull up the correct book and verify the genre. Please be careful about clicking on the correct "add book" link, since so many books have the same title.

Task 50, option 2A, is a cover task and the cover must be included in your post.

Well, that teaches me to always get a genre verified - unbelievable that the genre fell off in the very short time between when I posted my completed task (I double checked) and you got to it :/ I personally did not have it verified, but someone else in the thread did have that exact book verified for "aliens." Would I be able to repost and cite that message, even though I wasn't the one to originally ask about that book?

Asho | 181 comments Hi Sandy,

I think you may have accidentally given me someone else's points. You had me on the Readerboard as having 80 points, but I think I only had 65. I did just put up another post in the completed reads thread (post 2526), but that should only take me to 85 total, I think. I'd love the 20 extra points, but I'm pretty sure I didn't earn them. :-)

Stacy CT post 2537

Task 15.3 requires that different states be used for the name in title and for the setting. The Mole People: Life in the Tunnels Beneath New York City appears to only involve New York, so would work for A or B, but not for the one book option.

Task 25.8 - No Place Like Oz appears to only exist in ebook form. If the book has been approved for length, you must include the spreadsheet line # or post # when you post the task.

Please do not repost the other tasks in this post. Those points have been recorded.

You have linked to an ebook edition. For ebook editions, you must use the page count for the MMPB or most popular PB, if no MMPB exists. The page counts for the paperback edition exceed 450 pages, so this book will not work for this task.

For task 20.8 you have linked to Don't Look Back, an ebook with 384 pages. If you read an ebook, you will need to include the link for the MMPB or most popular paperback edition, to establish a page length that works for this task.
