If you were choosing a title for the book, would you keep the author’s title? If not, what title would you give the book?

Yes, quite well regarding the story!

- If you were choosing a title for the book, would you keep the author’s title? If not, what title would you give the book?
I'd keep it, it's a bit long and not a "selling title" but it fits well to the twins' adventures.

Marie | 1060 comments What are you reading this week?

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson

Did you have a hard time finding a book with a long title?

Not at all, so I went for the longest I could find.

Do you think the title was fitting for the book?

I think it sums it up pretty well. Although when I told I friend I was reading it, she asked "What's it about?", so maybe not!

If you were choosing a title for the book, would you keep the author’s title? If not, what title would you give the book?

I think the title is more interesting than the book, so I'd definitely keep it.

I would keep the current title.

Jess (seejessread) | 296 comments What are you reading this week? The Smell of Other People's Houses by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock
Did you have a hard time finding a book with a long title? I actually did have a slightly hard time. Now that I read it though, I've found numerous other options.
Do you think the title was fitting for the book? I think the title was perfect.
If you were choosing a title for the book, would you keep the author’s title? If not, what title would you give the book? The title of this book drew me in. It wasn't on my TBR. I'd never heard of the author. The title alone filled me with sensory feelings so I had to grab it. Wouldn't change a letter.

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews

Did you have a hard time finding a book with a long title?
No, I had about 3-5 different books on my TBR list that fit this prompt. I originally chose a different book, but my library didn't have it available via overdrive, so I went with this one instead.

Do you think the title was fitting for the book?
I'm only 40% through the book at the moment, but with what's happened so far, yes, the title fits well enough.

If you were choosing a title for the book, would you keep the author’s title? If not, what title would you give the book?
I'm fine with the title as is. I guess when I finish the book I may think differently.

I Know I Am, But What Are You? by Samantha Bee

Did you have a hard time finding a book with a long title?
Nope! I have a lot of fairly long titles on my to-read shelf. I just happened to get to this one first, because I was in the mood for something funny.

Do you think the title was fitting for the book?
Not particularly, no. It feels vague and doesn't really sum it up, but considering how vague and meandering this book was, maybe that was intended.

If you were choosing a title for the book, would you keep the author’s title? If not, what title would you give the book?
No, I wouldn't keep this title, but I'm honestly not sure what I'd use as an alternative.

Stacey D. | 1908 comments What are you reading this week? Are We Smart Enough to Know How Smart Animals Are? by Frans de Waal

Did you have a hard time finding a book with a long title? No, I had a few of them on my TBR list.

Do you think the title was fitting for the book? I think it's perfect for the book and a question I ask myself, as well as these: How do we really know how smart animals are? Who are we to judge? Humans, who don't know enough of about ourselves...how can we profess to understand a different species?

If you were choosing a title for the book, would you keep the author’s title? If not, what title would you give the book? I think I'd keep the author's title as it is, or maybe something like, I cannot even work the Amazon Firestick! How arrogant are we to think we know animals?
