I'm in again this month, although it was a pretty poor effort for May's TBR takedown. Hopefully I can do better in June. I'm thinking I may have some books that are better qualified for this month's challenge.I'll start with my long book A Breath of Snow and Ashes
. 980 pages. May need to start this one asap!!!
Michelle I hope you like Fallen better than I did. I hated it & didn't finish. When I posted my review on the thread in Bookworm bitches I got attacked for my opinion so i deleted my post. Those bitches LMAO

Oh no! I hate to tell you that it was actually my choice as the bitch of the month and I didn't even get time to read it. I saw a lot of mixed opinions on it.
I really want to get through the series one day as I have the first two books signed by the author so I feel obliged to read them now.

LOL yes, it would have been about the time you were BOM lol I figure I will be BOM about the time I'm 95 years old lol
So, I think it's about time I start participating in this challenge. :)The Long:

The Short:
Orfeo-3 pts
Pnin-2 pts
Neverwhere-3 pts

So I've really bummed out on this challenge...can I say that? But I have read two books that I think might qualify....just!!!The Hypnotist's Love Story
. Has orange on the cover so = 2 points and Save Yourself
has a dark cover so anoher 2 points. So looks like only a measley 4 points for me unless I can fit one more in before the end of the month that qualifies.
Don't worry Elaine. I had all intentions of finishing A Discovery of Witches as my big book but then ended up starting Sweet Tooth and The Cutting all at the same time so am not sure if I will finish one or all before the end of the month!!
We are still in the early days of this challenge thing. It's always interesting to try to fit our reading choices into multiple challenges. All we can do is push forward. :)
Finally finished A Discovery of Witches last night for 5 points. Talk about a looooong book!
That takes my total to 9 - Yay!

I'm afraid I have an unfair advantage since i'm able to listen to audio all day at work. If I wasn't able to do that I would not have much time to read at all.

Oh that would be great! I try to do that sometimes when I get a rare day home to work when my boy is in daycare but then I get so absorbed in my work that I find out I've missed a heap of the story and have to go back.

I managed to squeeze a little short story in before the end of the month.
Leashed - 3 points
Takes my final total to 12.
Not a great effort but not too bad either :-)
