I read this book about 2 years ago. The book had been published within a year of my reading it. A young girl was in an accident and can't remember her past. She tries to access memories and occasionally they're jumbled up with memories of a sister she doesn't have. She tries to piece together her life and remember. Her parents seem to hide things from her and are very over protective, as if they're hiding something. For a while it almost seems like she has an identity disorder. I can remember exactly how it ends however, given the no spoilers rule, I won't post unless asked.
I'm almost positive it is not the Adoration of Jenna Fox.
