i am currently reading...
i just started Jericho Point by Meg Gardiner. Unfortunately it's the third book in the series and I haven't read the ones before it so I'm a little confused at the moment. :P
I see. I was a little "meh" at first too, but I got really drawn in after Damon was officially introduced. I hope you like it better as you read on. :)
Jo,I was exactly the same when I read it, and after the first two still couldn't decide if I was bothered about reading the next ones. However found the next two on offer for £4 so decided to buy it and books 3 and 4 were a lot better than the first (or I had got past what was annoying me)
Jo wrote: "I gave up on the Vampire Diaries. Maybe i will try again one day but i got too bored and stopped. Now i am reading Road Of The Dead and City of Bones"I really enjoyed the Mortal Instruments Trilogy. It had lots of twists. Vampire Diearies books are a little hard to get into. It took me a little while to get into them also.
I think it got mixed reviews, but I really enjoyed it. It was the writers first book and series in one I believe. I think she did a good job at keeping me interested. I hope you like it. I'm looking forward to her new series coming out soon.
Currently reading Thirteen Reasons Why. I feel so depressed because of it. :(I'm sorry you couldn't like The Vampire Diaries, Jo. I hope you enjoy The Mortal Instruments. 8D
I have Tempted too! Just read Thirteen Reasons Why (only took a day) and now moved on to Living Dead in Dallas (think Tempted might be next after this one)
I started reading

, im on page 30 and have'nt had time to continue reading but as far as i got its just talking about the aftermath of the prev book ending, and yes i hope zoe makes up her mind on which guy, i hope its stark
I am reading
and
. So far Ill Wind is not catching my interest. I thought it would be better since it's by Rachel Caine. Oh well.
I loved Rachel Caine's Weather Warden series. The first book wasn't that great, but the rest of the series blew me away! :) I loved them, but that could just be me! :P
@Jenny: I love VA! I read 20-some pages of Blood Promise at the bookstore but can't buy it because I'm broke and the library has way too many people who want to read it, so I haven't finished it yet. I'm dying to find out what happens to Dimitri and Rose and Adrian.
I love Adrian!!!!Dimitri really hasnt entered the picture yet..=( I love VA too!!One of my fav series at the moment..ahh so well written.

For me when I read MV I was loving the characters right from when Claire first went to the glass house. I haven't felt that connection yet. It could also be that I am pining for characters from another series. I am still planning on finishing it. Mackenzie said she loves the series, so I have hope!
Yeah, the first book does take a bit to get into if I remember correctly. I dunno, you can't really compare Caine's MV series with her WW series. They're completely different.. and just.. well, hold out the Weather Warden series gets better as you go along, IMO.
i'm currently reading book 3 of Vampire Academy, Shadow Kissed.. and I love the whole series so far! <3
I'amber wrote: "Mmm, me too. :) I'm now on 141."hey i liked how zoey told erik off he was getting annoying :)
Lazuline wrote: "Currently reading Blood Promise by Richelle Mead. So heartbreaking."come on!! i envy you!! i want to buy it but it's a bit expensive because the paperback hasn't come out yet!! awww..
@Jenny: You have no idea how hard the wait was for me...I couldn't buy it for the same reason as you and our library only had one copy and it seems every local wanted to read it so I had to wait ages before I got to read it. But it was so worth the wait. I hope you get to read it soon.
I'm reading One for the Money by Janet Evanovich. I've taken a wee break from fantasy books lol. I love this author, her books are always funny! :)
If you click on the link I put in there you can just read the summary lol, as I'm not the best at explaining what a book is about. (:
@Lazuline--aww..how i wish i can also read it very soon!! :-)
our library doesn't have it so the only way I can read it is to buy or borrow but the latter doesn't seem very appealing because my friends are not really fond of reading so...gud luck to me..haha
@Jenny: I have never borrowed any books. None of my friends are readers, not like me at least, so I have no one to borrow books from. The ones that do read, they're the typical "read what's popular *coughTWLIIGHTcough* and skip the rest". Do you read online? Because last I checked, someone uploaded Blood Promise to scribd and you can read it there.
haha, I was not a big reader before. My reading habits started actually from twilight then I discovered this site and made me love reading..:) Yeah, I do read online. In fact, I downloaded Frostbite because of so much anticipation but i bought the book when I have read like, the first four chapters. I have some problems reading on the screen though, because sometimes it hurts my eyes and I can't have privacy when people where walking behind you, sometimes peeking on the computer screen, and I can't make myself smile freely! haha especially when good and romantic things happens...but i'll try to search it and read when my family's asleep..XP
I've been a big reader since before I can remember. Reading is like breathing to me. And lol, so many people started seriously reading novels after Twilight, it's quite an achievement. You can find it here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/19970435/Va...
The words are really small, so it's probably best if you download it, if you do decide to read it online.
Well, I've started 4 books in 2 days. I don't know what's wrong with me I keep switching between them. Anyway, I started
even though I didn't care for the first book. I figured that since now they published the books with the tv characters in single books again, I would buy it. I wouldn't buy the double versions they had out previously since I had a very old single copy of the first book.
I'm now reading The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman! It's not quite how I had expected it to be so far, but I'll see how it turns out ! :)
I'm about 45 pages into it, and so far it's good. It's about this New Jersey librarian who is obsessed with death and wishes.. and she wishes to be struck by lightning and when she does get struck by it, her brother makes her move with him to Florida where he puts her into this study about lightning-strike victims. It sounds odd, but I'm hoping it gets better lol
lol, good question. it's just cause when she wishes for something.. it comes true.. or at least that's what I've learnt so far lol
@Lazuline:hey, guess what? I just bought Blood Promise and I'm going to read it as soon as possible!...:-)
I have a very good guess I will love it! <3 I hope the 5th book come out soon..is the 5th books the last in installment? :-)Are you doing Nanowrimo this year?
Nope, there's going to be another one after the 5th, 6 in all. No, I don't think so. Might change my mind, though.
