I spent much longer on this character's appearance than I usually do! Tell me what you think about it!Full Name: Wes Stobbard
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Residence: 1227 Laflin Court, Galveston, Texas
Appearance: Wes has chiseled features, a prominent chin, and a jawline that could cut granite. His dark brown eyes are deep-set below thick eyebrows, the ends of which point down to a hawk-like nose. Dark, large lips seem to be stuck in a permanent smirk. He has shaggy brown hair with a lighter streak from his ear to his tan forehead.
Other Markings or Accessories: He dresses typically in a worn-out brown hoodie and jeans.
Personality: Behind his sly, devious smirk, Wes is always hiding something. Be it someone else's secret, another cunning scheme, or perhaps even that he's not the bad guy he's thought to be, finding out will probably be difficult. Don't mess with him.
History: Wes has had a hard life coming from an abusive home to being adopted. His family was nice, but he never felt like he fit in. He got expelled from one school and joined another that he's currently at.

He knew something was up when the guy just appeared, and the guy had pointy ears so he guessed he was an elf and the elves had to have secret cities to not have been discovered. He's never been to the cities and he doesn't know what they're called.Let me clarify that in the history if that sounds reasonable to you.

We could even roleplay him and my elf Bay, who doesn't give a flying crap if humans discover the elves. They could be partners in crime! They have kind of similar personalities.

Alright, I see what you're saying and I fixed Trill up a bit (Her history, specifically). And I'm sorry if I came off as rude as well, I don't mean to either. I'm just trying to defend my choices and sometimes I get a little... Proud, I guess.

Appearance: Elodie has wavy ginger hair that falls just bellow her shoulders. She has nice calm baby blue eyes that makes her hair pop. She's quite short, maybe 4'9" and quite skinny.
Other Markings or Accessories: She always wears a pearl necklace.
Personality: Elodie is Silent. She doesn't speak. At all. That doesn't mean she's not kind or caring because she is both of those things. She has her own quirky way of communicating through pointing and is quite smart.
Other Notable Things: She's mute.
History: Elodie has always been silent. She's never tried to talk because she can't.She has her own ways to communicate like pointing. Her mom is a Polyglot and is fluent in sign language. She taught her daughter sign language so she could communicate. Other than that, Elodie leads a normal life. She's a spy for the black swan. She mostly observes people's actions to see if they could be part of the Neverseen. It's not dangerous, in fact it's quite simple.
Other Achievements/Accomplishments: Learned American Sign Language. Her mother considered teaching her Norwegian or British sign language, but she chose American.

Being mute isn't a rare thing! I went mute for no reason other than I wanted to! (Although I still have to talk for those who don't get mute people. I go to a school where every one but my teachers know I'm mute. It's interesting. But that's ok. I'm ok.).
Mute means no noise. Dumb means the inability to speak. (Which I just learned. I always thought dumb means stupid. Weird things you learn, huh? I never used the word dumb ever again.) I'm mute cause I hate talking. Although I have to talk to certain people, which sucks. I mostly communicate with my hands, like Elodie. Elodie has an interpreter so she won't have to talk.

I know being mute as a HUMAN isn't really rare... But elves as a whole have hardly any oddities outside of differing abilities.

The definition of mute is in the eye of the beholder. It's just like "are comics and graphic novels actual books?".

I'm sorry if that comment seemed a bit snappy, but that's not my intention at all. I'm just a little frazzled when I get into this kind of argument. And I'm sorry if I sounded rude. I disn't mean to, honestly.
Elodie's muteness wasn't caused in an accident. And I'm not sure if it's a disability. She just can't speak. She can talk with her hands and she's perfectly fine! :)

We've found the elves aren't perfect, however. The Neverseen are evil and will do anything to get their way. If the other two were caused by accidents with the Neverseen, why not one born mute? They really don't have anything to do with each other.

With African American skin, hazel eyes, and bouncy dark brown hair, Rhode is the image of cute and innocent.Other Markings or Accessories: Her registry pendant.
Personality: Rhode may look innocent, but she's the most mischievous five-year-old you'll ever meet. Always playing pranks while giggling in the most irresistible way, Rhode does what she wants but always seems repentant. Seems.
History: Rhode's parents call her a handful, but love her anyway! They have always done their best, and know she'll grow up to be a wonderful girl. Well, think.
Her siblings think she's quite the annoying brat. She borrows their stuff without asking, embarrasses them in public, and does what she pleases. They aren't afraid to say what they think of her, and while she acts indifferent, she hurts inside and thus continues to act out. The cycle repeats.
She wants to go to Foxfire and to be a Vanisher, but isn't on the right path.

Personality:
Calian is a super sweet guy but he has. . . problems at times. His temper is becoming increasingly common now that he has just manifested into a Shade. It's kind of frightening for him as a boy of sixteen to soon find his room trashed all because of a little temper explosion. But the weird thing is that his moon mark glows a silvery light while Calian's having one of his fits and as soon as it shines directly in his face, he starts to calm down and be himself again. So if Calian is ever distant with one of your characters, know that it is because he only wants to protect them and make sure they don't get hurt.
History:
Calian is just as ordinary as the next elf. Well, sort of, but not exactly. You see, his folks like to hold out enormous parties during the summer and Calian's afraid that this summer party will be the biggest one yet. Why, do you ask? Well because Calian's seemed to have his Matchmaking scrolls pretty soon and he isn't really the kind of elf to hold true to a piece of paper. So his parents are going to invite every she-elf in the Lost Cities to see if their son as that girl on his scroll. Kind of embarrassing, but their hearts are in the right place.
Now another question you may is: how did Calian get that moon mark and how is it that the mark can calm him down? The answer is quite simple, his parents were concerned for their little boy when the fits and the trashing came quite frequently. They went to see a doctor and the man suggested to put some kind of seal on him. They did this and injected a syrum to create the mark like the doctor said they should. And ever since Calian was five, he's had that mark.

Personality: Harper was a quiet boy up until he met Elodie. Now he's a little louder so he can release his charm! I wouldn't call him a flirt, but he does manage to charm a bunch of girls. Although, he doesn't have time for dating.

History: Hmmmm, let's see. He has had a normal childhood, you know, playing outside, "You're grounded!", Scraping the knees, falling out of trees (hey that rhymes!), Helping great great great grandma's knit tea cosies (that rhymes too!). Then, one day, many moons ago, Harper met Elodie. A girl who couldn't speak because she never tried. Harper learned ways to communicate with Elodie. He stuttered in sign language but he continued trying. Then, one day, to his pleasure, he manifested as a Polyglot. That's when he became Elodie's best friend and interpreter. He is also a spy for the black swan like Elodie.

Personality: She's a really sweet little girl. She started reading really young and has a photographing memory. So she really is a smart cookie. Other than that she loves hugs and is a rather nurturing little girl.

History: Well, Trill's parents work for the Black Swan. They often take Trill on little 'outings,' every now and then to play with her Gnomish friend Luyu. Since Luyu is much much much (much much much much much times infinity and BEYOND) older than Trill, she looks after her as they venture off into the woods. Little does Trill know that her parents are at black swan meetings. She is brought to visit Luyu while her parents are at the meetings right nearby.
Other Achievements/Accomplishments: She has recently finished a 695 paged book in Gnomish.
