:) I love March because new Bishop and Briggs books. I just wasn't expecting so many hold books at once. It's like a book panic attack can I read them all before they have to go back.

message 952: by Tessa (new)

Tessa | 1761 comments Dedicate yourself to the hold books. lol That is insane.

Hollywood Dirt is out. So is a Sylvia Day one that I hadn't read. HD was fun, just to see how the book played out, but keep in mind these are super low budget movies and half the fun is their Lifetime-esque quality. I read Matchmaker's Playlist solely because of Nick Bateman! SWOOOOOOON 😍😍😍 I think a couple of us in my FB group are buddy-watching it tonight if anyone wants to join in!

message 961: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments We're watching it at 7pm CST.

message 962: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments I'm trying to figure out how they can possibly make a movie of This Man........ anyone?

message 963: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Jean, I wonder if they will change it and make it unrecognizable like so many adaptations? I dont want them messing with my Jesse.

message 964: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments With a low budget I highly doubt they can...

Jean | 1658 comments Leslie wrote: "Jean, I wonder if they will change it and make it unrecognizable like so many adaptations? I dont want them messing with my Jesse."

That's why I'm afraid to watch Hollywood Dirt. Loved the book and afraid they will ruin the movie. Has anyone watched it?

message 966: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Jean, I read book but didnt love it and dont remember too much of it. I watched movie and liked it. I love cheesey lifetime/hallmark romance movies though. It helped that the actor who played the H is gorgeous!!

message 967: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments The H is hot! I'm going to have to watch it on a rainy day..... that's usually when i feel like watching a Lifetime/Hallmark movie!

message 968: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Hot men make ALL the diff when watching any movie/show! 😘

message 969: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments I loved re-watching the last song.........sigh Hemsworth, any of the 2 and as long as the H is legal...sigh Scott Eastwood!!!! Another Nicholas Spark movie actor

Nay (4ukcats) Jean wrote: "I'm trying to figure out how they can possibly make a movie of This Man........ anyone?"

That's the first thing I thought, Jean. How in the world can they portray Jesse?? I'm afraid it'll ruin it.

Tessa | 1761 comments Thank you for the Red Queen one. I need a slight refresher. I remember the major moments but some of the characters are kind of background and forgotten.

I love the synopsis of the certain characters I lost track of. lol I don't know if it helped, but it was very specific.

message 982: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments I'm reading Red Queen and was curious ya know...

Ela | 4291 comments Who was it that wanted to read the Sweep series?

message 984: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Wow Ela, that’s really great. I’m actually really enjoying “the cruel Prince” I’ve just started it. It’s not my typical read. But it’s refreshing starting a new genre.

message 985: by Kooloo (new)

Kooloo | 596 comments Melinda I too was very surprised at how much I was drawn into the CP world!!!

message 986: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Well, I just had to tell you that last night I picked up number 2 child at 3.30am yes IN The morning and we live about 25 min from the cbd. And I had to take home 3 boys that were with my daughter. As I was driving it turns to bush about the 45 min mark and this huge big kangaroo jumped in front of the car. I nearly died as I was on a bend and was sitting on 100 kms, not sure what that is in miles but I slammed on the brakes. So so so lucky I didn’t hit him and one of the guys says, Did you do a racing car driving course to miss that kangaroo? cos I don’t know how you didn’t hit him. Any way I saw about 50 Kangaroos along the side of the road and I was so damned scared, I was going to hit one. As some of them are soooo big. I think this one was 5ft 8. And big like really big. Any way just needed to vent. I got home about 4.30am this morning. Then I couldn’t sleep from the stress of that drive in the dark.

OMG Melinda! I'm so glad you're alright. We have that problem here with deer. They come out of nowhere and I get so nervous when people drive here from the airport (and hr away) at night because they don't know what to look for.

message 988: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I was just going to say the same thing Robin. We also have tons of deer. We have them in our yard most every night and I almost hit one running across my driveway a few weeks ago.

But, OMG, Melinda! A KANGAROO!!! That sounds freakin' scary! So glad that y'all are all ok! But with my love of everything Aussie, I do have to say it sounds so cool to see so many on the side of the road!

Right? I'm like cool kangaroos!! But I effing hate deer. And so many people come visit me and I'm like, they taste awesome... grrr

message 990: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments We saw a Deer as well last night very event full. But the population of the kangaroos have increased so dramatically. But as I was driving I could see them all in the bushes and I was really freaking out as they can do so much damage to your car. But the road has no street lights and it’s beside a national park. I’ll take a photo the next time and send it to you. I don’t know how to post it to this chat.

message 991: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Melinda, Wow! As cool as kangaroos are to us Americans, that sounds scary to have almost hit them. Glad you made it out ok.

We have deer here too and it can be dangerous and cause lots of damage to car.

OMG! Glad everyone is ok! I hardly have any kangaroos jump in front of my car...they all hide....yes, there are kangaroos in Chicago, they just look like deer.

message 993: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Hahaha Ela, it's really scary though. My daughter was screaming OMG Mum.
I have a 4WD and this one was bigger than the car.

message 994: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments Oh no, I can't even imagine how scary that was!

message 995: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Melinda, you def have to take pics for us.

message 996: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I want a kangaroo...so, if you could just lure one into your vehicle and send it to me. Seriously though, I'm glad you are okay. They are big and scary...and I hear they are kinda mean too!
