I really enjoyed this one. This series confirmed to be a great roller coaster!
(view spoiler)[On the one hand, in Illuminae the 'calamity' [understatement of the year] was probably less complicated and more immediate to grasp than the cosmical mess happening here.
On the other hand, Gemina is more character-driven than Illuminae, and I loved Hanna, Nik & Ella. Even the romance was soooo sweeeet and IMO better developed than in Illuminae (probably due to a less deep characterization of Ezra that pales compared to Kady's and my crazy, adorable, over-protective CyberPsycho AIDAN's). I didn't believe for a second that Nik killed those people because you can't murder a child and still be the hero of a YA story, that just ain't how it works. Still, the fact that his younger brother was the real killer is so freaking messed up.

The scenes with the parallel universes happening concurrently on either side of the book was really awesome, great use of the formatting.

That fake-out at the end was just mean, I ACTUALLY ALMOST BELIEVED IT FOR A SECOND because technically we do have another cast of main characters who can take over for the next book but then I remembered its a fun YA series and there's no way they'd really do it.

That was lots of fun! I didn't love it quite as much as Illuminae but I still loved it :D (hide spoiler)]
