20% I'm really loving how the story is progressing so far. It's interesting to see the flip side of the story, and learn more about the thought processes behind the decisions made in part 1. Hopefully we get to see more of AIDEN (!!!!!!!!). Although the characters are entertaining, I feel a bit as though they are just cutouts of the characters from the last book + (insert new name) + (insert new backstory). The character I'm loving the most is Hannah. She and Kady share many traits so I guess there's no surprise there! I also like how her diary reveals how thoughtful she really is, rather than just being a rich girl (though that does make it funny!) (hide spoiler)]

50% I just started noticing the bloodstain on Hannah's diary. Since it gets larger as the diary progresses, I'm assuming it's a bullet wound from front to back. (Could someone have tried to use it to protect themselves?). I really strongly dislike Jax as a character. There's something off there about how he keeps telling her to turn herself in... I wonder why Hannah isn't suspicious? Hannah is not only resourceful, but its really clear that she is independant and strong. Even though Kady+Ezra was suuuper cute in the last book, I think its a nice change that Hannah isn't constantly thinking about her boys. (hide spoiler)]

Yes, it's my favorite series! The audiobooks are awesome with a full cast and sound effects, but the layout is so great either way.

I think I will stick to the books for finishing this first go-round but maybe try the audio next time then. I love full cast and sound audiobooks but I don't know of very many. So I'll definitely look into them for a future re-read.
