Even on the vidscreen, I have a hard time focusing on it. maybe it's the hooch, maybe the stale ships rations I ate three hours ago trying to come back for a visit. the thing's skin is this weird kaleidoscope of... not colors. un-colors. It's hard to describe I get a headache looking at it. it unfolds two tiny forelimbs, pushing itself up off the abattoir floor, those necks writhing to a melody only they can hear.
