Name: Brianna (Bree) Millington

Age: 17 (almost 18. Was hoping birthday could take place during role-play)
Personality: Bree loves music with all of her heart. She plays piano and sings whenever she can. Bree tends to be an introvert, however. Doesn't have many friends, and doesn't really know what to do with herself nowadays.

History: Bree was born on October 22, 1999. She grew up in a religious household, so her parents were very homophobic. She has no siblings.
In eighth grade when Bree pieced together that boys just weren't attractive to her, and girls were, she kept it to herself. Then in her sophomore year, a girl named Sophie caught Bree staring at her. Sophie led Bree on, and played with her heart and feelings, and got Bree to trust her. Then, one day, she kissed Bree, and some boy got a photo. The next day, the photo was all over the school.
Instantly, rude names and remarks were fired Sophie and Bree's way. Bree spent the last of her sophomore year depressed and friendless. Sophie spent it denying that she had any feelings for Bree, and actually gained some friends back.
After the year ended, Sophie moved away, and left Bree to deal with the aftermath. However, Bree's junior year wasn't any better. Although the immature comments stopped (except for a select few idiots), people, especially girls, kept Bree at a distance, thinking her very weird. Bree is now a month into her senior year, and is still very much an outcast.
Bree's parents were and are surprisingly uninformed and uninvolved, and to this day they still don't know about Bree's feelings.

Typically Called: Are, Ara, Arlin, or Lin
Age: 17
Grade: Senior
Appearance:

Arlington is not afraid to be herself. Bold is perhaps a good word to describe her, or maybe brave. Depends on who you are. Arlin is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet, but she's not afraid to stand up for herself. She says what she means, though she tries to do so in a way tha won't hurt others. Arlin was lucky to be blessed with a family that is very accepting of her being a lesbian - her mother is bisexual, after all, not to mention her older brother Toby is trans. Arlington got lucky. And she knows it. Arlin is out to...well, everyone, and she won't take crap about it. She knows who she's attracted to, and she's not afraid to admit it.

Bree waved the vision away like an annoying fly, internally scolding herself. It wasn't their fault she was a freak... It was hers...

Bree sighed in frustration. After two years of this, she'd learned not to cry over stupid things. But now and again she felt like she almost would.
"Brianna, to your desk please." Said the teacher, staring at her coldly. Bree internally rolled her eyes. Of course it didn't help that Ms. Browning was a homophobe. No mercy was ever shown Bree's way. Bree hurriedly tried to gather her things, scolding herself, like she usually did.

"Th-thanks," Bree managed, taking the girl's hand and standing up. Bree took the seat right next to the girl, still shaking ever so slightly.
Bree couldn't even begin to fathom why this girl had spoken to her, much less looked her way...

Bree forced a small smile to try and prove that she was fine. She didn't know if it was believable, so she said, "I'm fine."

She ripped out a piece of paper and started to write.
Hey there. Sorry if I come off as weird... Honestly, no one's talked to me as a genuine friend for... Well, a few years now. So I'm just in some shock that someone is actually willing to talk to me...
-Brianna (Bree) (PS, I know what you meant. About the "fine" thing. It's okay, really. Haha :)
Bree looked over her note. Deciding it was worthy of sending, Bree waited until the teacher wasn't looking. Then, she silently slipped the note onto the gorgeous girl's desk.
Bree instantly looked back down at her paper, trying not to blush. She hurriedly started writing the notes that were on the board.

It's okay! Perfectly understandable. I'm sure I'm werid to other people too, lol. Is it weird to write lol in a physical note? Ah, whatever. It stinks that people don't talk to you, you seem really nice.
-Arlington (whatever nickname you want is fine, I've heard them all ;))
She tossed it over onto Bree's desk before she lost her nerve, then immedietly felt like banging her head on her desk. A winky face? Really?

Thank you, Arlington. That's extremely sweet of you. I actually
Bree suddenly looked up in horror as she watched the teacher approached her aisle. Panicked, she stuffed the paper in her bra, not knowing what else to do. The teacher gave her a look, but kept walking, lecturing still about poetry.
Bree sighed, blowing air out of the corner of her mouth, unknowingly also blowing a hair out of her face (only to have it fall back again). Bree looked over at Arlington, blushing, and flashed a smile that said See? I'm sneaky.

'Very smooth ;)' onto it before sliding it over to Bree.

Yeah, I would love that! I have a car. Do you want to come to my house since it's the end of the day anyways?
Bree tossed the note back, grinning and elated.

Finally the bell rang, and Bree packed up her things. She looked at Arlington.
What do I say, what do I say, what do I say...
"So, Arlington, huh?" Bree asked. She then resisted the urge to punch something. Her name?! Really?! she scolded herself...

I'm surprised I'm actually acting... Normal, considering the fact that I haven't had a friend in three years... she thought.

Bree walked her all the way to the parking lot, where her car was waiting. It was a five-year-old navy blue truck that she'd nicknamed McKay. ((More details on that later on.)) "So, this is mine." Said Bree, smiling. She patted the side of the truck bed. "He's a little old, but he works just fine."

"Yeah," Bree said, smiling still, he's a little old, but he's great. I drive him everywhere," Bree realized she kept saying "him" without saying the car's name... "Oh, his name's McKay, by the way."
