Morning,
Haha we call your weed whacker a string trimmer over here.
I am undecided whether to try and do a banana sandwich cake and fill with buttercream or just make a banana loaf to have with a cup of tea later on. I'm waiting for my butter to soften up a bit so have plenty of time to decide but will probably stick with a loaf as I don't have the ingredients to make the buttercream (I use mascarpone rather than butter as it's creamier and lighter)
Sounds yummy, Sophie.12:31 PM Listening to watchmojo.com's Top 10 Fantasy Movie Weapons (on #5...Sting), wading through email and catching up on GR.

It's 1:16 pm here. Leftover haddock and French fries are in the oven for a late lunch. I just finished reading The Martian. You know in books where the main character says he's crashing after an adrenaline rush? I'm crashing.

Thanks Sophie. That takes me back and it's one thing I miss about working from home - all those spontaneous nights out after work. Have a lovely time. :)
Thank you! I actually don't get to do that very often either as am a single mum and I work in an office with only my 72 year old boss haha. Nights out these days seem to require meticulous planning!

Lisa wrote: Ugh…feel better. Maybe some peppermint tea and crackers?"Good idea. I have a mint plant outside. Might consider smushing some with some hot water. I don't have crackers though. Maybe some dry toast...
I am hoping it's actually self-inflicted due to too much wine on an empty stomach last night rather than a bug lol
