Haha we call your weed whacker a string trimmer over here.

I am undecided whether to try and do a banana sandwich cake and fill with buttercream or just make a banana loaf to have with a cup of tea later on. I'm waiting for my butter to soften up a bit so have plenty of time to decide but will probably stick with a loaf as I don't have the ingredients to make the buttercream (I use mascarpone rather than butter as it's creamier and lighter)

Thanks Sophie. That takes me back and it's one thing I miss about working from home - all those spontaneous nights out after work. Have a lovely time. :)

Good idea. I have a mint plant outside. Might consider smushing some with some hot water. I don't have crackers though. Maybe some dry toast...
I am hoping it's actually self-inflicted due to too much wine on an empty stomach last night rather than a bug lol

First day of our weeks holiday, at home but still nice. Weather awful so no craft show.

So went out for a lovely pub lunch

Watched the snooker.

Now lunchtime in the UK. 12.30.

Up ALL night watching the snooker till late with a great semi-final going to 17-16 final frame.

Then watch the BIG fight during the night 4.00 a.m here in the UK. With a Mayweather win

So up a little later.

Tennis this afternoon at 4.00 to 6.00 pm singles.

That is a huge fight. I cannot believe the money they will get for this fight. Why not throw the fight and retire, lol.
