Are you only looking for YA? YA and children's? Only fantasy, or all genres/literary fiction?

message 4: by CraftyChara (last edited Apr 16, 2018 07:49AM) (new)

CraftyChara | 2120 comments I'm looking for all kinds of literary adoptions. It's just a coincidence that they're fantasy/YA.

Whoops, there are six , I forget about the novella. The author released two new books, twelve years after her last one. It took me by surprise as well.

The Face on the Milk Carton 1990
Whatever Happened to Janie? 1993
The Voice on the Radio 1996
What Janie Found 2000
What Janie Saw 2012
Janie Face to Face 2013

lucky little cat (luckylittlecat) Saffy's Angel (Casson Family, #1) by Hilary McKay
Saffy's Angel, Hilary McKay

One of my all-time favorite books. When Saffron asks why her name isn't a paint color like her siblings' (Rose, Indigo, & Cadmium), a visiting adult answers "Doesn't Saffron know?"

And there are four other books in the series; each focuses on a different sibling, and Saffy's a major character in four of the five.

Cara--you have got to stop coming up with all of these wonderful ideas for books. My Nook and Kindle can't handle the load any more. (And my tablet is getting ready to die too.) You get some of the best suggestions on your threads, and for books that I've never ever heard of too.
