Book Link

When you are typing a reply in the text box, look just outside the line at the top opf the box, right of center. Click on the words "add book/author"

Type in the title and click on "search".

If you don't see your book, you can try typing in the title and the author's name.

click on the "add" button to add book link.

If you want to add a book cover, look at the bottom of your search box, and click on cover.

If you are willing to look at photo directions in another group, The Challenge Factory, click on the link below. Very clear directions with pictures. A much better explanation than I provided. I don't think you have to be a member to follow this link.

I started and finished Inspiration by Henrietta Clarke on 12/5.

Should I add that or is that going backwards?

message 373: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4262 comments I added those last two books and Congratulations, we are done with the stop. The next stop is Thiruvananthapuram, India. All books finished after count.

I am all for trying for a perfect cube: 125, 216, 343, 512, 729, 1,000 are the ones in book range. I have four that would work on my to read list.

message 374: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments I can do either. I have a 216 pg that I could get done over the course of the a week.

message 375: by Sam (new)

Sam | 1663 comments I have a 512 I could get done this week I think.

message 376: by Melissa (ladybug) (new)

Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments I have a book with 512 pgs that I can read. :)

Roger - president of NBR United - (roger_presidentofnbrunited) | 612 comments I should be able to find something for the perfect cube.

Roger - president of NBR United - (roger_presidentofnbrunited) | 612 comments well since the rule say any page count is acceptable I have a 27 page count book that I can read quick.

message 379: by Brandy (new)

Brandy (thebacklist) | 167 comments I have a 216 pg I should be able to get done in a week.

message 380: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4262 comments I say we go for it then.

Roger, I wasn't sure if we agreed as a team earlier for what we took as our minimum length?

message 381: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments I didn't vote on a minimum length. Perhaps it was before I joined and I didn't notice. If the rest of you would like to set a minimum I'll respectfully bow out.

message 382: by Melissa (ladybug) (last edited Dec 15, 2016 07:02PM) (new)

Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments Personally my post was a vote to do the detour. The length has to do with the detour. I was saying in my post that I had a book where the page # added up to a perfect cube. I don't have a problem with spell it out either, but the "v" in the word would really be a biggie to try to find lol :) I don't think it has to be a minimum # of pages just that the # of pages are a perfect cube

1
8
27
64
125
Etc.,

message 383: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4262 comments Sounds good to me, I'll start mine this weekend.

message 384: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments I thought Xelly was questioning whether or not we had a page minimum as a group for this challenge.

Do we? I didn't think we did. I read a lot of shorts and I am certain I used shorts. The Ugliest Sweater is 65 pages.

If there is a minimum, I need to go back and check everything I claimed.

message 385: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4262 comments I cannot always keep groups straight and since no one else remembered one, I figured it was another group.

message 386: by Sam (new)

Sam | 1663 comments Alrighty then, since we are doing the detour, I will move my book up the TBR list to get to it sooner.

message 387: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments I added this stop to the spreadsheet and put in my completed book. Please feel free to re-arrange the spreadsheet as you see fit.

Roger - president of NBR United - (roger_presidentofnbrunited) | 612 comments Finished Taken In Pompeii 27 pages for perfect cube.

Susan A | 461 comments So, next stop?

4. Taichung (TW) - Obihiro (JP) Read a book where a character is a nurse

I don't have anything for the detour. I vote for spell.

I do have a nurse, actually multiple books with a nurse. I guess it doesn't matter to me.

message 395: by Brandy (new)

Brandy (thebacklist) | 167 comments I am good with a nurse book or spell it out,but would prefer spell it out.

message 396: by Sam (new)

Sam | 1663 comments I don't currently have any nurse books, so I would prefer the spell out.
