The book thief by Markus Zusak (I'm reading that book for school, I haven't finish the hidden oracle yet tho, so now I'm reading two books at the same time lol)

Finished part 1 of A Clockwork Orange A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess .

Core emotional response is ambivalence.

I'm not sure how I'll rate this story.

I keep imagining Alex educated at Harvard, or Cambridge, being polished and made all shiny and new. Then the shiny Alex walking the halls of power of the world, and seeing himself reflected in the souls of those he meets there.
