Chapter 15: (view spoiler)[ That was just an overall terrible situation. I can't believe Ryle did that to her and then Lily forgave him so easily. If that were me a verbal apology definitely wouldn't fix that situation. She was drunk and laughing and maybe she shouldn't have laughed but that doesn't mean he has the right to push her. Epilogue & authors note: (view spoiler)[ For the majority of this book I liked Ryle more than Atlas, but after Ryle did all those things to Lily my respect for him plummeted. I'm still not sure that I completely support Atlas, but I do know that he would treat Lily well and she will be happy. The author's note made me cry some more, reading about Colleen and her mother. It is at once great and sad how close this story is to her. (hide spoiler)]

I am angry at him for what he did and I believe there is nothing that can justify his action. But he's not bad person and I feel sorry for him.
And I love what her mother said about pushing limit. It's so true. This book so perfectly shows why so many people lives in abusive relationships.
