Louise | 280 comments My list:

Firstly I'd get some of the lovely - but alas expensive - Folio Society books:

1. The Golem by Gustav Meyrink a classic -and I like the look of this edition

2. I can't find it here on Goodreads, but The Folio Society made a case with 4 hardback volumes of W. Somerset Maugham's short stories

others:

3. Sabine's Notebook (Griffin & Sabine Trilogy #2) by Nick Bantock I have the first book in the series, and I like all the letters - fun idea

4. Woes of the True Policeman by Roberto Bolaño I like Bolãno's books and this is one I don't have yet

5. Wind/Pinball Two Novels by Haruki Murakami I read these as ebooks - but would love to own the physical books as well

6. Conversations with Beethoven by Sanford Friedman saw a great reviews of this, like the concept

7. The Light of Amsterdam by David Park had it recommended and it sounds appealing

8. London (Surviving The Evacuation #1) by Frank Tayell I always pick up a spooky read for the coming Autumn evenings, this zombie story looks interesting.

9. Indian Country Noir by Sarah Cortez a short story collection

10. The Sunlight Pilgrims by Jenni Fagan new-ish book, sounds interesting
