Okay so I need to gush a little bit at how wonderful this book looks right off the hop (I have the hardcover version BTW).

On the inside of both the back and front cover there is a map of the superstore! Yay! I love maps! And bonus, it is on both the front and back which is great as my library has covered half with their damage proofed jacket.

And the other wonderful part that I really like is that in the bottom right hand corner of every second page the book tells you which day it is!

Glad I have the hardcover for this book. It is very visually pleasing.

Now I hope to get at least a chapter done before my puppy is finished his dinner. I spilled it all over the floor by accident so it should take him a few minutes at least.

Mandiann, I have the paperback and it's from Link+ and they ALWAYS cover the front with whit "do not remove this" paper so I can't see the cover at all...NOT VISUALLY APPEALING! Lol But it also has the maps in the front and back.

We just got home from our Oceanside vacation last night so I haven't started it yet, but I will this weekend.

I haven't started yet either. I hope to start maybe Sunday. Tomorrow we are going to watch Transformers: Age of Extinction and then we have a thing at church. So I don't know how much reading I will get done tomorrow. :)

Thanks guys! We had fun! I have my books piled up on my bookshelf in my living room and on my coffee table in front of me, so some have been glaring at me like "why haven't you started me yet!?!" lol!

Kathy, I have just begun but wanted to post something based on the section prior to chapter 1.

I really like how the author lists the names of the children involved in Monument 14 because we can go back and see who is what and how old, etc. I was surprised to see that the children (view spoiler)[ were from such a wide range of age groups. Henry and Caroline remind me of the twins in Maximum Ride. (hide spoiler)]

It's crazy to think that (view spoiler)[they live in a world so vile that they have to wear masks and if they are certain blood types that they can boil from exposure to the elements, etc. Freaky! (hide spoiler)]
