#1: WorldCat claims 337 pages for multiple publications with that ISBN, but does have one entry for a “Book Club Edition” (same ISBN) with 303 pages: http://www.worldcat.org/title/prayers... .Page count set to 303; edition info added.

#18: WorldCat actually agrees with the 274 page count, but since book-in-hand holds sway, set to 264 (as previews are not counted).
#20: Set to 367 pages. (WorldCat says 377; book-in hand overrides.)If WorldCat is consistently including previews, then potentially many page counts on GR will be inflated—and worse, corrections based on book-in-hand confirmation (like this) may eventually be adjusted back to the WorlCat count by unknowing GR librarians.

494 is blank and 495 is "Note from Author".
Worldcat does nothing but annoy me ... lol
It counts preview pages almost every time but not About the Author, Note from Author, Epilogue ... I've also seen it not count the last page of a book because it wasn't numbered - it was one of those books that only had numbers on every other page and once it counted about 20 pages of full page ads for all the books in the author's series.

By the way, Codex, I've spent countless hours adding my over 6000 books to my Goodreads account and I'm not finished yet. Sometimes I just have to stop for a while as I get so annoyed when it seems that every book I enter is either missing info or has wrong info. But I will keep plugging away until I get them all entered.And yes, it does worry me that all of my time invested with be for naught especially when the correct info can't be locked in and may be unwittingly changed.

I own this book and there is nothing after page 374. The only thing I can think of is maybe a revised edition was published with more pages added. My copy is first edition and has 374 pages. I did look on my local library website and they have the book with 374 page count also.

WorldCat is better than Amazon for page counts, but certainly not 100% consistent with how Goodreads counts pages. That's why book-in-hand overrides them. The good/bad news for most of Edwina's requests is that in many cases the records have not been touched by a librarian before her requests (just by automated imports), and are unlikely to be revised by one later.

The page count for Ghosts: Recent Hauntings, ed Paula Guran, ISBN 978-1-60701-354-9 is wildly incorrect. It's listed on Amazon and Goodreads as 384 pages, but there are actually 477 pages.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Edited to add: I checked Worldcat and they are counting preview pages again. Book in hand, 382 pages plus the first chapter of the author's next book brings it up to the WC count which is wrong by GR policy.
