He frowned but didn't argue as hey walked.
She led him into her apartment building.
He walked with her quietly up the stairs.
She let them into her apartment and closed the door behind them.
He went inside and looked around as if it was his first time into her apartment.
She frowned at him. "What's the matter? You took your meds last night.."
"I don't know," Elian answered as he took a seat.
She sighed and put his lunch in front of him.
She went into the bathroom to clean off her back. She struggled, wincing and groaning occasionally.
Elian ate quietly abd then went to gt himself some juice.
She soaked her back in the shower then managed to wrap her back up with gauze.
Elian finished his lunch and sat for a bit.
She came out in a light tank top and leggings. "Are we going to talk about this morning?" She asked.
"I'm asking you, too," Elian answered.
"Well, didn't do anything." She shrugged.
"I don't know if I did anything," Elian said, lowering his head tiredly.
She sighed and nodded. "Don't worry about it."
"It is." She said. "It's really no big deal."
"Are you not sexually attracted to me anymore?" She whispered.
"What? No, of course I am," Elian said. "Nat, you're hurt and I was half asleep." He told her.
She nodded, playing with her hands. "I know." She sighed. "I just can't help feel this way after what happened."
He sighed softly, "i'm sorry for making you feel that way." He said.
"Elian, it's not your fault." She took his hand.
"It's not, I promise." She said honestly.
"I just miss you is all." She said.
"I know," Elian sighed. "I miss you, too."
"I miss how things used to be." She added.
She sighed and stood up. "I'm gonna lay down."
He watched her, "can I come with you?" He asked.
She nodded, holding out her hand to him.
He took her hand and stood up, following her.
She let go of him hand so she could climb into bed.
She turned toward him and piled some pillows by her back.
He lay down on his side and watched her.
She slid her and under her pillow and smiled at him.
