"When...when did this happen?" She asked. "And what happened?"

"They were in a really bad car crash... About 4 years ago." She said, wiping her hands in a towel.
"So before Amelia was born..."she trailed off.
Natalia bit her lip. "What I do?" She whispered.
"Just... be there for him, if it doesn't go well," she said before walking towards the living room. "Katy, honey, can you take Amelia to your room and play with her for a bit, please?" She asked.
Katy nodded, putting her phone away. "Come on Amy let's go brush your teeth." She held her hand out to her.Natalia nodded, looking unsure.
Rebecca laughed nervously and sat down next to Elian, who was looking after Amelia. He looked up, "whats going on?" He asked.
Katy took Amelia upstairs.Natalia sat on the other side of Elian. She took his hand in hers.
Elian tilted his head to the side."Honey, promise me you wont freak out, okay?" Rebecca said gently, looking to her husband. "You have to not freak out for Amelia, yeh?"
"Everything is okay." Natalia added assuringly.
Elian nodded, "okay," he said, looking completely calm."Sweetie, I was just talking to Natalia, and she told me about your parents," Rebecca said.
Natalia watched him. "Your parents..." she trailed off.
"Oh, okay," Elian said and looked to his Aunt. "And?" He asked."Honey, your parents are gone... remember? It was a bad car crash... and we went to the funeral."
Natalia rubbed her lips together. "They didn't make it." She whispered.
Rebecca looked to Natalie then back to Elian who looked completely fine. He didn't want to hear the words so he blocked them all out. Rebecca tightened her hand on his, "sweetie?" She asked. "Don't disappear on us, yeh?" She said softly.
Natalia touched his face, making him look at her. "Hey; it's okay." She said softly.
Elian looked at her but he still looked a little distant.
"Elian?" She said his name softly.
Rebecca watched worriedly, rubbing his hand.Elian looked at her, "I think I hurt someone.. I think I hurt someone... Last night." He told Natalia.
Natalia sighed. "Elian, we went over that." She said.
Rebecca blinked, "Elian, sweetie?" She said. "You hurt someone?" She asked him, now talking to him like he was a child about to throw a tantrum. "Who did you hurt, honey?" She asked.Elian looked to her and then back to Natalia. "I can't remember."
"He didn't hurt anyone." She said quickly. "It's just a coincidence and a misunderstanding." She said.
Rebecca looked down at his knuckles and nodded because they had no fresh bruises or wounds.Elian ran a hand through his hair. "Can l go see Milly, now?" He asked.
Rebecca looked to Natalia. "Are you sure he didn't hurt anyone?" She asked.
"I'm sure." She said. She looked at Leon.
Rebecca looked Elian because it always broke her heart when he got like that. She carefully nodded before she stood and went over to Ben for comfort.Thankfully though, Amelia and Katy came back down the stairs.
Natalia dropped Elian's hand when Amelia returned. She looked up at Rebecca, biting her lip.
Elian picked Amelia up and put her on his lap. He gently kissed her head and hugged her. He still looked a little lost, though.
"I had a lot of foods in my teeth.' Amelia giggled.
Elian smiled, "you washed your teeth really well?" He heard Ben ask, who was a dentist.
"Yeah." She smiled proudly at Ben.
"Good," Ben smiled. "Amy's going to change her toothpaste soon, to a bigger girls," he said to her dad, watching him carefully.
"And big girl brush?" Amelia asked.
"And a big girl brush," Ben said.Elian grinned, "thats amazing!"
Amelia smiled and rested her head against Elian."Let me get a picture of you two." Natalia pulled out her phone as she stood up.
Elian rested his head against hers and smiled up at Natalia.
Amelia smiled wide for the camera. Natalia took the shot."You join in Natalia; I'll take it." Katy offered with a smile.
Elian smiled, "yeh, come here." He lifted an arm for her to hug him.
Natalia gave her phone to Katy then sat down beside Elian, snuggling up to his side. She smiled at Katy who snapped the photo.
"Got it." Katy smiled, lowering the phone.
"Send that to me." Natalia smiled.
Elian nodded and set the picture as his phone background before he texted the picture to her.
She looked at the picture closely and smiled.
He smiled at her before looking to a sleepy Amelia.
