"Yeh, I am," he waved her off. "It's okay," he said to her. "I wouldn't know how to live without it, anyways," he shrugged and sat back.
"How are you crazy?" She shook her head.
He shrugged, "i don't know. I just am. I have things in my head," he said, resting his head back against the trucks back window thingy. "Things that aren't normal," he stared up at the sky.
"I'm just another abnormal thing in your life then." She climbed onto his lap.
"Crazy with crazy? We're fucked." She laughed.
He chuckled, "you're not crazy." He said:
"I raise the dead and talk to ghosts; of course I am." She squished his cheeks.
She let his cheeks go then smiled shyly at him.
She closed her eyes and kissed him back.
She pulled away. "When did you lose your virginity?"
He pursed his lips. "I don't know," he said.
"You don't know?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I know that I did, I remember bits and pieces but I'm not exactly aware how long ago it was," Elian said. "It was definitely more than 5 years ago... And less than 8," he shrugged. "I'm 3 years sober and the 5th year I was with Milly's mother. And 8 years ago, I started drugs."
She nodded, running a hand through his hair. "Well, Milly is proof that I didn't take your virginity." She teased.
He chuckled, "yeh," he said. "I was too high to bother remembering, its mostly just bits and pieces that I can remember."
"It's not great the first time anyways." She smirked.
"I lost mine to a soldier." She told him.
She shrugged. "That's really it. The entire story is super sappy."
"I was young nurse tending to the wounded soldiers. He was a patient of mine and we just..connected." She shrugged. "He lost a leg. I was basically his comfort. I assured him he didn't need his leg. He could still do whatever he wanted with just one. He joked about sex and I laughed, but he was serious. I shrugged and told him I wouldn't know. Surprised, he showed me what sex was once he was able to." She said. "With my consent of course:" she added.
He chuckled slightly and nodded. "Thats not cheesy," he said.
"Yes it's a typical nurse-soldier love story; blah." She laughed.
She shook her head. "No. I didn't. I don't think I've ever loved anyone."
"Love actually terrifies me." She admitted.
"When you have lived as long as I have, plus longer, it's just...I know love will change my life." She looked at him.
He took a deep breath. "It's hard," he said. "But it's worth it."
She nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'm willing to try." She murmured,
"Sounds like you actually like me," he grinned.
He grinned, "I know." He said arrogantly.
"You like that, too, don't you?" He said, running his nose up and down her neck.
She giggled, sighing softly. "You know I do."
"Good," he grinned and looked back at his iPad where the movie credits were just rolling in.
She laughed softly then kissed him deeply.
He kissed her back without hesitation.
She dug a hand into his hair, holding him to her.
He lifted his hands to her hips and held her as they kissed.
