She kissed him back shyly with a small smile.

He looked down at her again and smiled, wrapping a strand of her hair around his finger and letting it go. Then he did it to another strand.
"Well told you about the town shunning me and how I grew up in a brothel of sorts." She tapped her chin. "Oh! You don't know how I got to America, do you?"
"I told you this already," she laughed. "Anyways, like I said, I love as a nurse in the war for a few months but people started to become suspicious when all the soldiers who were seconds from death were getting up and walking out."
"So like last time I had to flea. I ran away and about three days later when I was an hour away from dying of starvation, a circus travelling by picked me up." She said.
"I told them what I could do, and they didn't question it. I was added to the team." She said. "We ended up travelling to America when the circus became popular enough, thanks to me." She shrugged. "I was a huge hit. Not only did I 'pretend' to raise the dead, I also could contort my body and stuff, as you know."
"I moved." She told him. This is was in late forties. I had to leave so no one would question me about how young I still looked after I stopped aging."
"My mother was lovely." She smiled, thinking to herself for a moment. "I looked so much like her growing up. I'm sure I would now it I wouldn't keep dying my hair." She giggled. "But yeah. She was the best kind of mother a mother could be."
He smiled softly, "is it cause you didn't like your hair or because you just like different colours."
"Different colours." She said. "Plus, I like changing up my appearance in some way since I'm stuck like this."
"I do," she said. "Only from my own experiences though. Plus books. I've only met one other necromancer." She told him.
"Well, you know most of it. My parents kicked me out of the house because they thought I was up to no good and my aunt and uncle picked me off the streets when Katy was really young," he said thoughtfully. "Even before Milly was born. I ran into my moms sister at some point in the city and she said everyone thought I was gone or wasting away or something." He said, "my parents refused to accept me back so my aunt did." He explained, "like I said, I'm crazy, no one wants someone crazy."
