I am really enjoying this series. The author has done a great job of mixing historical facts in a chick lit format. It seems like there was a bit more historical facts in this book than in the previous 7 books, but that only made the story seem real.

Have you read The Scarlet Pimpernel, or seen the movie? This series is a follow-up from that book. It's not necessary to have read the book, but it would be easier to understand what's going on if you at least know the story line.

Review - I am so obsessed with this series and these characters. The cliffhanger on this one was kind of gut-wrenching, though. I feel kind of book-hangover-y now. Like I'm slipping into a mild depression because I have to wait so long for the next one. I think this is the series that I've continued on with the longest. Number 8! It's a new Kim Record! I didn't feel like as much happened in this book as some of the others, but I don't even care. I love all the characters so much, I'd probably read about them picking their teeth or doing their laundry.
