I would call that blue. However, other editions of the same title could be classified as green.

Does
count as green? I don't really think so, but since I'm reading it, I figured I might as well ask. If not, then
should.

You all are doing such a great job on the start of this challenge! Especially for only 15 days in. Inspiring!!

Darn! I was hoping you'd count the "gold" as orange too and I'd squeeeeaaaak by! LOL! Ah well, I have two other options.
I just got a copy of The Wrath & the Dawn from the library that I was thinking I was going to use for red, but my book OCD requires that I always shelve the cover of the edition that I read and this was the cover/edition I got from Overdrive:
So I guess my question now is, can this be a purple book instead?
Gremlin wrote: "You all are doing such a great job on the start of this challenge! Especially for only 15 days in. Inspiring!!"I had too many books coming into my library eAudio account at one time. Had to rush through a couple before they were due back. I'm usually much more leisurely working through my challenges.
Read 2/6:Green:
Blue:
I had two others and then saw the 50% comment. Dang it! I knew it couldn't be that easy lol.
Kdbrand wrote: "So I just found this gem of a book,it looks more violet than blue to me. What do y'all think?

Is the cover obviously purple when you're holding it? It looks like it could be from what I can tell - so if you think it is, I say go for it.
Gremlin wrote: "I would call that blue. However, other editions of the same title could be classified as green."Thanks, I've used
as my blue book! Not really sure what I thought of it though.... Finished it tonight and updated post #17 accordingly.

How was that? I have had it on kindle forever and was thinking about using it for orange. I actually have not even started reading for this challenge yet because I have been on vacation for two weeks and have a e library book that is about to expire. If you think it is decent then I might start the challenge with it. I am trying to do the whole challenge with books I already own.
Book #3 PURPLE completed
*I bought this book back in February and finally got around to reading it!
Melanie #9
A should have 3 done. I also read a blue book.PS: Gremlin, thanks for all your work on these challenges. I really enjoy them (even if I don't always succeed).

Thanks, Melanie - and good catch! You're updated now.
And I'm glad you like the challenges because I love running them. They are such a great impetus to keep reading :)
Finished two more while we were away.Orange -
- I liked this a lot considering I only picked it for the challenge. I wanted to know what happened after the book ended.Yellow -
Updated post #19.
I need ideas for green! A lot of the ones I'm seeing here I've already read, or they're 3rd in a series.
Is it ok if Gold (for yellow) is in the name of the series but not the name of the book? Like this one:
it's part of "The Gold Seer Trilogy"

Thank you! I was going through the green list on goodreads, but didn't want to just pick something at random. Recs from members here always go better. :)

Here's a couple of recs (although I don't know if the last two are quite green enough, Gremlin will have to weigh in on that):

Whelp...it didn't get called out when I originally posted it and it's already been read so if you don't want to count it, I totally understand and I'll either just find something else or I won't have a 'red' in my rainbow. No worries.
Finished #4 - The Golden Braid for yellow.I would not recommend this. It was boring.
Updated Post# 54.
Wow you all are moving right along.Great JOB! I have not read my first yet and am still backlogged with life. This may be the first challenge I don't finish, but I will try to get what I can get done before September is over.

Same with me, it was on my Kindle for a long time. Not sure what took me so long to read it! Definitely a solid storyline with characters that I felt a connection with. The best part is that it was a quick read.

I feel like when there's a challenge I'm all on board with, I try to finish it in the first month. I don't have to read a purple book I'm not feeling because of the challenge. I can stop and wait for something else.
Is
orange enough to count? I had a different orange book picked out but this one came in from the library so I thought I might use it.

Oooh, Jennifer! I read the entire "Mediator" series and loved it! So much, in fact, that I bought the whole series for my classroom library. I hope you enjoyed that first book. :)
