Yeah, Goblet of Fire doesn't have enough green. But Half-Blood Prince definitely does!

Darn! I was hoping you'd count the "gold" as orange too and I'd squeeeeaaaak by! LOL! Ah well, I have two other options.

So I guess my question now is, can this be a purple book instead?

I had too many books coming into my library eAudio account at one time. Had to rush through a couple before they were due back. I'm usually much more leisurely working through my challenges.

I had two others and then saw the 50% comment. Dang it! I knew it couldn't be that easy lol.

I very much see purple on this one! (Also, I've been wanting to read it for a while, so let me know what you think!)

I feel like my computer screen is making it look so dark that it's hard to tell what color it is. Is the cover obviously purple when you're holding it? It looks like it could be from what I can tell - so if you think it is, I say go for it.

Thanks, I've used

How was that? I have had it on kindle forever and was thinking about using it for orange. I actually have not even started reading for this challenge yet because I have been on vacation for two weeks and have a e library book that is about to expire. If you think it is decent then I might start the challenge with it. I am trying to do the whole challenge with books I already own.

*I bought this book back in February and finally got around to reading it!

PS: Gremlin, thanks for all your work on these challenges. I really enjoy them (even if I don't always succeed).

Thanks, Melanie - and good catch! You're updated now.
And I'm glad you like the challenges because I love running them. They are such a great impetus to keep reading :)

I need ideas for green! A lot of the ones I'm seeing here I've already read, or they're 3rd in a series.

No, sorry. It's got to be in the name of the title, not the series.

Hi Brandi - I hate to be a stickler, but I'm not really seeing more than 50% red in the cover for

Here are a few ideas, Barb (that I've read and enjoyed).

Thank you! I was going through the green list on goodreads, but didn't want to just pick something at random. Recs from members here always go better. :)

Here's a couple of recs (although I don't know if the last two are quite green enough, Gremlin will have to weigh in on that):

Whelp...it didn't get called out when I originally posted it and it's already been read so if you don't want to count it, I totally understand and I'll either just find something else or I won't have a 'red' in my rainbow. No worries.

I would not recommend this. It was boring.

Same with me, it was on my Kindle for a long time. Not sure what took me so long to read it! Definitely a solid storyline with characters that I felt a connection with. The best part is that it was a quick read.

I need to calm down and relax about it. I feel like when there's a challenge I'm all on board with, I try to finish it in the first month. I don't have to read a purple book I'm not feeling because of the challenge. I can stop and wait for something else.

Finished book 1 and 2

Oooh, Jennifer! I read the entire "Mediator" series and loved it! So much, in fact, that I bought the whole series for my classroom library. I hope you enjoyed that first book. :)
