Elderwan...or who ever is on, I was looking at the spreadsheet and my two books didnt get marked as read.
I finished both Rook and Planet of the Apes Yesterday.

Btw, Snowtulip, I see that your reason for the window book is that "window" is in the text. That won't be enough!

Is there another way you can connect your HP book with the window?

It needs to be a reaaaally important window and have some serious importance for the story to be able to count for a valid reason to make a connection between the square and the book.

I didn't do the strike-through for one of them but the rest was all good.

Waiting on the mods now to arrange for the powersquare to be tripled (instead of doubled as it normally would be) - as it needed to be requested before we start inputting things - and then we can start adding books to the grid.

Not much left to be done now!

I also just finished the horse book - what a load of bull, and it could have been so nice, actually.

Are there characters who are constantly passing to each other? Goal getters working in pairs, or something along those lines? That would be better for the "Ride a Banana" square than the goalie.

I just finished Brown Girl Dreaming and she talks about not being able to go outside while it is raining (several times; she doesn't like it when it rains and she can't go out) and watching her best friend play with another girl.

It needs to be a valid connection, a reasoning for why something works (if it isn't a title or cover thing).

Your second option though... If they're doing a fun-at-the-beach kind of thing, or in a funpark or something along those lines, you know a place where those kinds of weirdo banana boats are used (and it's a larger part of the book of course), then that might work?
