True! Tamika is reading one for that spot too so you guys can work that one out as they both seem they would work.

Ghost in the Stacks Also K-Terror, can you put me Down for the Firebird spot.
I am listening to I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1) by Pittacus Lore which should work nicely.

Ghost in the Stacks I think its good, we covered almost half the board by ourselves...Eldarwen will have nothing to do when she wakes up!

LOL! I'm happy we made good use of banked books ~ we only have 3 left...

I am working on a book by Tillie Cole so I may use that towards the "T" spot...

message 4520: by Snowtulip (new)

message 4521: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Haha! I'm laughing at the quest for a banana hammock! Hilarious! And what??? None to be found?! What the heck?!! ;)

Tamika♥RBF MOOD♥ | 1422 comments It could mean mode of transportation! Ha!!

message 4523: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments In one of my books (Tell Me Three Things) it talks about the "condom-on-a-banana" talk..

Think that's what she does before she rides the banana?

Tamika♥RBF MOOD♥ | 1422 comments I'm currently reading The Senator's Secret by K.C. Wells ... Umm it could work for dog as well.

message 4525: by K~Terror (new)

message 4532: by K~Terror (new)

K~Terror (k-terror) | 5600 comments Urban Definition of "Banana Rider"
--------------------------------------------

1) Used to describe someone whose sole purpose is the enjoyment of another person.
2) The term could also be used in sports, to describe someone who always passes the ball/puck/etc to their favorite player. (Famous people typically have several banana riders that roll with them wherever they go and wait on them hand and food, brown nose, and defend their subject at all costs.)
--------------------------------------------
#suck up #brown noser #ass kisser #gfw radio #team fortress #tf2 #protector #defender #healer #helper #assistant #secretary #bitch #prison bitch #lemming

Tamika♥RBF MOOD♥ | 1422 comments Ooh who passes the puck. Empty Net works, one of the mc is a goalie.

message 4536: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13763 comments Mod
How about this:

Since we're already well on the way to getting a lot of these books done, how about we go for another coverall this time and use one of our left-over bonus to claim the bonus that goes with the stamp pattern, i.e. "Increase all undiscovered x2 powersquares to x3 power squares".

And then the next card, we'll do the stamp pattern, so we can use another left-over bonus to claim the blackout bonus.

(That way you also know which spots to claim next time around without having to wonder which pattern we're doing.)

The Surgeon (Jane Rizzoli & Maura Isles, #1) by Tess Gerritsen could work for "gift"?

Since the Surgeon leaves disgusting birthday-presents for Catherine Cordell.

I'll be done with that one tonight.

Tamika♥RBF MOOD♥ wrote: "Ooh who passes the puck. Empty Net works, one of the mc is a goalie."

Hmm considering the definition K posted, it should be someone passing the puck to their favourite player.

Sort of like a wing-man, the goal getters always playing off each other? Are some of those in the book as well??

I'll snag the horse on cover spot. I have a book ready to go. It's fairly short, which means less points for that one, but oh well :-)

Small Town Filly (Sandbar Stables Cozy Mystery #1) by Bethanie Cushman

Also, it was published in 2015 in case we need it for that square.

VNerdbooks (v_nerdbooks) | 5108 comments wah you guys are quick!!!!

Jessica | 296 comments I'm almost finished with Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness and banana is mentioned in the text 3 times. Will that work?

message 4546: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 13763 comments Mod
Unfortunately, merely the mention of a banana (or any other word/picture) in the text isn't enough of a connection. :-(

It needs to be a more substantial reason.

message 4547: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria | 149 comments Holy Crap you guys are seriously fast! It baffles me every day! lol Guess I'll wait for the next card.

I love the Ride a Banana! That's a tricky one!
