Love that picture, ST! The first time I saw it was also after some incredible stuff went down that needed faith in humanity to be restored and it brought a tear to my eye :-)

Becks!!!!!He's such a nice guy as well, as much as he comes across as thick, he does so much for charity

Me too. I didn't want to spend a lot to buy it and it's such a long wait at the library but when I saw this sale, I grabbed it.

So my original list in our HC group and yours are almost identical, lol!
And if Rhysand is a BB, you MUST read
. Like now! :)
I knooooooow, I want to !! :-D
Stupid challenges getting in the way :-p
The plan is to jump into this with both feet this weekend. Maybe even earlier if I can manage as I currently have 3 other books on the go, two of which I'd preferably be finished with before Wobble starts on Friday.
I love that you love Pritkin!! :-D

I'm surprised too, I can't get online while at work and usually have a lot of posts to catch up on when I get home...not today!

Court of Mist and Furys just came in from the library today, can't wait to start later this week :D
I think all of these extinct teams are taking the 'extinction' aspect to heart! All a bit quiet....or we're all just gearing up for Friday to break loose!

I wish V would start back dropping things. Loved it
I really should have signed up for this, lol. Especially if I'm just gonna hang out in y'alls threads :D I'm so weird...

Players, please check if you are friend with Mod account. If not, please send friend request to it.
If you are not a friend, spreadsheet can't work properly, meaning your books won't count for your team.
Are we there yet?

Also, are we still all here??
Rumour has it that this challenge is going to start soon.... Are you ready for Friday to roll around???

So ready!!!!! I'm wrapping up the books I am currently reading and not starting anything new until Friday.
What are you currently reading?
Fingers crossed you can get them all wrapped up before Friday!! :-)

The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy - Reading to my minions
Graceling - Just started yesterday, should be finished by tomorrow :)
Saga, Volume 3 - Here lately I always have a graphic novel close by
My TBR is going to grow exponentially with the way you guys talk about the books that you are reading! I totally think that this challenge will broaden my horizons.
I'm ready but I don't know what I'm ready for... Battleship is the game but the details are sketchy. So, I guess just read read read!!
The details for Battleship will be up soon, just a liiiittle bit more patience, then we'll all get an idea on how things are going to work.
I'm just hoping it isn't going to be as completely nuts as Gladiators was towards the end haha.

Aaah yes, Jessica, we probably should have put a warning sign on the first page of this thread... we will make your TBR grow. It's inevitable ;-)
Every time I go into a challenge, thinking "this might help me get some books read", I also end up adding about half of what I read back to my TBR in one way or another hehe.
Let us know what you think of Graceling once you're done!
I'm currently reading Stars & Stripes (aaah Ty & Zane...), Soul Music (because Death) and The Little Shop of Hopes and Dreams (borrowed from a friend, last year... quite fun so far).
I'm sure I'll have two of those done by Friday, not sure about the Pratchett book, but then, I'm not much in a hurry to finishing that one. I prefer to enjoy those books as they make me laugh :-)

Well well wellllllllllllllSeeing that we are all here and present I suppose it's about time we actually thought about our team games, I know I know I was only here to chat too!!
Anyhoooo
A couple of little questions to get us started.
1. What genre would you rather jump off a cliff than read?
2. What genre would you call you favourite (read most of the time)
3. Is there a genre would you absolutely never read not in a million years, no way, nope never!!
4. Is there a genre that you would read at a push but only in a life, death or reading challenge scenario
Basically, what do you like to read, what do you not like to read, and is there anything at all that you would never read ever???
Not that we'll be dishing out these genres to you, but it's always good to know in case there is a random non fiction or historical task somewhere to read, I would personally rather sell my kidneys on ebay than read one of those but some of you guys may be jumping to read them!!
