LADIES!!
It is Wheel-a-Thon planning time :-)
Kelly put up the WAT tabs on our official spreadsheet and we just spun for our first word (excitement!!).
We got: HARRY POTTER.
Our colour task: blue and it needs to be found in the text.
Made me grin ;-)
V will be fiddling with her spreadsheet a little, I'm sure, and then we'll see in how far we can use our banked books or what everyone is going to or wants to read for this.

Just finished season 4 of Shameless. I'm calling off tomorrow. You can put down for Time Lost, One Step Forward, Adulting 101.
I'm currently reading Resistance. Off to bed.
I'm sure we'll be able to use them at some point, those are useful letters after all (and from just looking at titles).
Have a good night! :-)
Have a good night! :-)
The book I'm currently reading, or have been "currently" reading since the end of Battleship, has several mentions of blue in various situations (a dark blue suit is somewhere at the very beginning of the book).

Scratch that, we have a different option :-)
Keep those banked books coming guys, we can add them onto out team SS if you forget, we have all the details of books banked & used on there.Question for you all, if we manage to fill in the Words we have with our banked books including the colour bonus what would you prefer to do as a team, we will have the option to spin again for another word and an extra colour bonus, or if we are happy with the word we can stay with that word for the week and just keep completing that one with the colour bonus???
Just completed my last Olympics book; Gone, Gone, Gone. It was slow going with that one.Plus my son was itching to finish The Penderwicks on Gardam Street last night. I have added this one to Wheel banked books :)
Well if each of us needs at least one book, we will need to do multiple, that was why I was asking. We could always just do two rounds of each word, so we have a main and a bonus.
Abbie wrote: "Question- do all members need to read at least one book per "round/word"?"
No!
No requirements in that respect. We can read when we want and for whatever word we want.
Of course, 1 book per week is still the general guideline though. So at least 4 books per team member, as the challenge runs for 4 weeks.

Nope with WAT you only need to read what you signed up for, so if you are a one book a week girl then you only have to read that one book if you want, more would be lovely but there is no pressure in this game to go crazy

Thanks chicky :o)
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...Lost track of whether we needed me to read this, so it's on the shelf. If not needed, then bank it, baby!!
Going to bank it now, we've got enough books! Woohoo!! :-)
I'm the last slacker who needs to finish a book for Olympics *grin* I'll be done in an hour approximately. And then we can all rest a bit - or read books for Wheel-a-Thon ;-)

It does indeed Don't forget as well guys that the pages for W-a-T don't make a difference, so don't go mad with a 1000 page book (unless you want to of course!) because you'll gat the same amount of points as the person reading one with 101 pages.
Not sure what the next game is going to be and if we need page points, but it may be an idea to save your door stoppers for a later game.
Thanks Abbie I grabbed the info from the book page earlier, it's not always there but it was for that one.Times like this you need Shelfari !!
Weeeelll, Olympics is now unofficially officially over for our team!
I have finished my book and will add it to the spreadsheet in a bit. Then we'll only have to wait for the mods to fix that little script hiccup on our Olympics summary goal so we can get points for our coach books as well, and then... DONE! :-)

I was struggling a bit with pain but the doctor increased my pain meds so I'm feeling a bit better but the downside is I keep dozing off...especially when I'm reading. The PT says that I'm doing really well.

He really hasn't aged well, but at least he still has a nice voice :-)
Also, I remember and love him from Robin Hood - Men in Tights. That was my first movie with him. I only recently watched The Princess Bride (at least I don't remember it from my youth).
